♥Hiii!♥ Here is a video about my favorite make-at-home pink scrub! I keep mine for about a week in the shower (bc I get water in mine sometimes), but it could last longer if you kept it out of the shower, in the fridge or used a preservative! I get real scientific-y in here at a few points, but I just wanted to answer the preservative question for anyone wanting to maybe give scrubs as a gift! I listed two I thought would be good for this, but if you know of any others, please let me know! Also – please be really careful when using preservatives, read all instructions. Also, make sure you don’t have any allergies in your scrub before applying it! I also wanted to mention the popsicle part! I know it sounds crazy, but it really is only a small amount. The coloring will not harm your skin…and sugar is already in your scrub anyway! Think about how many soaps and facial cleansers are out there that have coloring to them! 🙂 I would love to know your recipe for your DIY Sugar Scrub…here’s mine:

1/3 Cup Raw Coconut Oil
1/3 Cup 100% Almond Oil
2 1/3 cups White Granulated Sugar
Red India Tree Food Coloring
Watermelon Essence Oil
Watermelon Flavor Oil
Bath Junkie Olive OIl – Coconut Scented
A little blob of Cake Mate Pink Gel

Re: label removal, pro tip! Use a piece of packing tape or scotch tape to remove the label and its residue. Just cut a piece larger than the label you’re trying to remove, lay the tape over it with some excess hanging out (for removal purposes. I like to fold mine over like a tab). RUB the tape into the label and then peel it off. Keep doing this until all sticky residue is off.
