Thank you TONS! I may have to order hand tied for a few special orders at some point. πŸ˜‰ And…thanks again! πŸ™‚

  2. Gloria Shin says:

i was so excited when i saw your new video about hair c: <3

  3. Jamie Mitchell says:

I love all the hair information. And I am getting more and more excited about wanting to try it.

  4. cassssssy says:

What color are your extentsions ?! And omg thank you so much for all that information ! <3

  5. 52weeksofbeauty says:

Thank you so much!! And I have ash/bleach (18/22) πŸ™‚

  6. LindseyLuvsYooh says:

The first time I took my tape ins out some of the tape stayed in my hair and it got all tangled and really bad, is there anyway I can get this tape out without cutting/ripping my hair out? I even used glue remover! Please help

  7. 52weeksofbeauty says:

What tape did you use? Was it Walker? Do you have the weft release? If it is another tape…I am not sure. I would use oil and be patient. Let it sit for a few minutes.

  8. 52weeksofbeauty says:

I put some links in the description box below..but go to glamour hair. com. They have nice ones! πŸ™‚

  9. sadria valentina says:

what kind tape and where i can buy for the extensions?

  10. DiiJiiGii says:

Do you have any videos of you putting in clip in extensions? I’m trying to practice with clip ins before I attempt the more permanent tape in and I cannot manage to hide the clips in my thin, fine hair and can’t get the clips to grip well at the top of the hair near the part even with teasing, hairspray, braiding….having the hardest time!!

  11. 52weeksofbeauty says:

Great question! The answer is yes! And, you are smart to do this as well…bc a lot of chlorine can dry extensions out over time. My video this week will be FAQ’s – all about Tape in’s! I will feature this questions as well and show you my hair in a top knot! ):

  12. 52weeksofbeauty says:

You are the first to say that to me and that makes me soooo happy!!! πŸ™‚ Thank you a million times over! πŸ™‚ And – yes any questions you have – let me know!

  13. 52weeksofbeauty says:

The strips are 3″ long and the tabs are about 2″…so they are close in size. The strips are a little bit wider – but not by much. The strips can hold more hair than the tabs…so if you are tripling or quadrupling your wefts – the strips may be better for you. The flowability will be slightly better with the tabs…hope this helps! πŸ™‚

  14. 52weeksofbeauty says:

You are so welcome! Definitely keep me updated on which way you like best! πŸ™‚ (P.S. I tried to write back to your comment in my inbox, but it says your inbox has contact messages locked).

  15. 13MsLeo says:

bobbyglam has “blusher wefts” that are very thin and can work at the top, too.

  16. Penny Morgan says:

I’m not sure if anyone else has mentioned it, but machine sewn weft can be split, mainly great for the top of the head. Just an idea if someone couldn’t find or maybe don’t want to spend the extra money for hand-tied. I love your videos, thank you for so much great information!!

  17. Codiegirl101 says:

I wish you carried the hand tied ones, cuz I would so buy them! πŸ™‚ love your videos! I actually like your hair better longer with these tied in ones. It’s blends in very well and it’s thin and looks real! πŸ™‚

  18. Chloe Luckin says:

Love the videos, I have single weft extensions and I was wondering which tape you think would be the best for me? I’m from England and I’m struggling to find that walker tape that you suggested to be sent here. Please help? πŸ™‚

  19. Chloe Luckin says:

Thanks so much for the quick reply! I had no idea you sold these. It makes it a lot easier for me now πŸ™‚

  20. Simply Seamless says:

I’ve been wearing tape hair extensions for a few years now and I’ve always worn the individual tape pieces (approx 4cm per piece). I’m excited to try your DIY method with the larger pieces. I’m just wondering if you ever have issues with the ends or the middle parts gaping or coming unglued?

  21. 52weeksofbeauty says:

Hi! No middle parts gaping, but sometimes (rarely) one weft on the side will lift a bit – like an 1/2″ or 1″ width’s worth or so. I just sep from my hair, cut it out and add a tiny new piece back in it’s place and it’s all good! πŸ™‚

  22. Rebecca Murphey says:

I am fairly new at extensions. I bought my first set st Sally’s using their sassy brand. I bought the 27 strawberry blonde. Matches really well. What color from glamour hair would work best? I am interested in the hand tied straight but I would be putting clips in them

  23. 52weeksofbeauty says:

Hi! I think 14B or color 16 – for hand tied hair from Glamour…? The color 27 on Glamour looks like it may be too light for you. Not sure exactly. Maybe purchase a color ring first just to make sure, since their extensions are pretty pricey…

  24. sunnihope says:

Can u reuse hair? I color my hair a lot. So if I tape them in and remove them can I put new tape on them

  25. 52weeksofbeauty says:

Yes – 100%. Just peel the old tape off and wash your wefts (to get all of the remover off) and dry them. The weft line will still be a bit sticky – and that will help the new tape adhere even better πŸ™‚

  26. Taylor Beach says:

Do you recommend to NOT sandwich our real hair between the hair extensions? And also, are you double siding both sides of the extension?

  27. 52weeksofbeauty says:

Yes to your 2nd question and the first question is really a preference for each person… I just like UN-Sandwich bc it hides the weft that way…

  28. Casey Liberty says:

Lol i thought it was pronounced ( bo-heem)

  29. 52weeksofbeauty says:

    Could be?! πŸ˜‰

  30. genelia milan says:

Buying hair extensions where i live is super expensive, what should i do

  31. 52weeksofbeauty says:

Where do you live? Did you enter my contest?!

  32. idunnonicole says:

In one video u showed extrnsions that had a stretchy tract. What brand was that?

  33. Meighen Vonk says:

Hello! I am wanting to install my own tape extensions this time around to try and save some money and from the research Ive done it seems to be the easiest method to attempt on my own, I havent bought the hair yet as I am torn on wether I should buy the pre taped extensions or the weft method like you did on this video. Do you think its possible to do the sandwich method yourself if you have someone helping make sure the back is lined up?

  34. genelia milan says:

How do I enter your contest? And I live in the Caribbean

  35. lovedrenched says:

if you have another contest let me know.im late:(

  36. 52weeksofbeauty says:

Watch Week 29 video – this has the current contest info! Good Luck! πŸ™‚

  37. 52weeksofbeauty says:

Sorry for delay – it is Walker Tape Company No Shine Tape. All of their sizes are stretchy πŸ™‚

  38. 52weeksofbeauty says:

Hi! So sorry for delay! Yes – it is possible to do the sandwich yourself – but helps so much if someone is helping…and it takes a lot longer to install this way as opposed to the UN-Sandwich method like I do.

  39. 52weeksofbeauty says:

Watch Week 29 and that will tell you how…good luck! πŸ™‚

  40. Starintheblue says:

Hello again! I’ve sent you an e-mail and I would really appriciate if you could reply to it because it has some questions in it! I’m so interested in the hand tied extensions.Love, Starintheblue.

  41. Christina West says:

    undetectable you mean by removable???

  42. 52weeksofbeauty says:

No – like…you can’t see them very easily – if at all! Undetectable like “hidden” or “hard to see/find”! πŸ™‚

  43. ashleysaldana88 says:

What brand do you recommend for the hand tied extensions that you mentioned in one of your latest videos?

  44. 52weeksofbeauty says:

Bohyme brand or I have some Miss Flirty’s in bleach coming in 3 weeks. πŸ™‚

  45. ashleysaldana88 says:

Ok thank you! : ) Another quick question when you have your extensions in do you sleep with a head wrap or something to protect them? Or a satin pillow case? Etc?

  46. 52weeksofbeauty says:

No – I don’t…but satin would be better for your extensions. I either put them in a top knot or sometimes a side braid too. Sometimes I do nothing at all and just sleep on them straight down too! This tape in way – doesn’t tangle or mat – so that part is nice. πŸ™‚

  47. Niki Bohn says:

WAH I want the hand tied extensions!! But I don’t trust any online besides yours or foxy locks

  48. 52weeksofbeauty says:

Haha u r so sweet! Not sure what color you wanted, but I actually just ordered seven packs of bleach blonde hand-tied and will have them in two weeks!

  49. Yasmin Anderson says:

Hello hun, so I just got tapes like a 5 days ago & when I washed my hair 3 of them feel out? Do you know why????

  50. 52weeksofbeauty says:

What brand tape? How are they installed? Email me and I will help you more πŸ™‚

  51. Yasmin Anderson says:

Whats your email! & mine is jasmineperalez@yahoo.com

  52. 52weeksofbeauty says:

My email is in description box under video πŸ™‚

  53. ASublimeStyle says:

I’m sorry, but I have to be completely honest:1.) The color doesn’t match yours.2.) You didn’t put in enough hair, and it looked like you were wearing a hair hat. 3.) In all the time you wasted doing this yourself, AND considering how bad it looked in the end…. you should have just went to a salon and had them professionaly done. 4.) I can’t believe I watched the video…. but it was such a trainwreck I couldn’t stop. 5.) You really should consider another business venture.

  54. Alesya Kach says:

It’s great to know I’m not the only Chicagoan going thru woes of the extension world… you’re an inspiration! keep them videos coming πŸ™‚

  55. Victoria Flores says:

Thank you for getting our message out! These are DIY!! Don’t have to spend 2k at salone!! http://www.sobeorganics.com!!! x

  56. bonnie1892 says:

Interesting. I use a really similar method. A few things… you should razor that top layer of hair slightly to blend it since your hair is pretty short. You can still see a bit of a shelf in your hair. Also, for the smaller pieces, or to secure your tape edges, instead of the sally’s white glue, try using Liquid Gold glue in tube form. It holds a lot better and is much thinner.

  57. Samy Rae says:

Question: Will 1/2″ tape work on triple wefted machine sewn hair? I have a set of extensions that are triple wefted and the 1/2″ tape and was wondering if it would work?

  58. ElsieOliveros says:

84 degrees??? i’m in Arizona and we WISH for 84 degrees in the summer. More like 120 degrees..

  59. Jodi Tomczak says:

on this video at 14:35 into the video u would tell us why u would put tape on one side only u never stated why? im curious as im gonna try this

  60. Haven Lyon says:

hey i just wanted to share my method of making tape ins. First i use body or wave hair on weft. i tape down my first double sided tape with the top peeled. usually i tape both sides to a book with scotch tape.i cut my wefted section and then i cut the hair one half inch below the weft to get away from the short hairs. I lay the hair on tape and roll them to spread across the tape, then i line the top quarter inch of the 1 inch tape with glue. the i add another tape across that and repeat process. then i top with another strip of tape un peeled on top. then i take the entire piece untape from book and cut the whole thing down to abt 1/3 or 1/4 inch . this leaves the hair all bonded across the top with a tiny line of glue. next i flat iron then it is done!! and No wefts! i do this for machine weft,.. hand tied is already thin so no need to cut away from weft!!

  61. celia perez says:

I do h otheads………hairextensions. they do not.fall.off and the secret is in the tape.

  62. rayne pinion says:

if you use bulk hair one way to stop shedding is to use liquid gold or even the latex glue on bot side of tape before laying the hair, then flat iron to help glue go through the hair, i do mine this way and it works great.

  63. Nyssa Fechner says:

What is the best way to sleep with extensions in?? Or do you just sleep like you would normally with your own hair??

  64. Ameeras Beauty says:

Hi dear, the ones on your website are machine tied? Can I buy hand tied extensions on your website?

  65. Tiffanie Ainley says:

How long does your hair have to be? Im growing out a buzzed cut and for the moment my hair is little over 1″ long. I cant stand it being this short because I cant do anything with it. My hair is very thick and dense. Could I use these tape in extensions on my hair with them being too noticeable? I have a wig but it makes my head itch horribly!

  66. SandraC Puzzello says:

Do you have a site for people to order.

  67. Laura Gutierrez says:

If you use the same concept with tape hair extensions, you actually get a really flat look, plus you can’t even feel them. I use my taped hair and put the double sided tape on them then apply. That way you don’t feel the seem from regular extensions. Just line up the taped extensions and put the tape on them. Since they are already sandwiched, they are thicker than regular hair extensions and flatter πŸ™‚ – hope this made sense.

  68. brenda mccarty says:

I just got my first set of tape ins. They were pre taped. I need to color them before putting them in. Does the color affect the tapes

  69. Maritza Zavaleta says:

I really want to try this on my own hair. My hair is just past my shoulders and super thin. BUT my issue is I workout a lot and I’m a nurse so my hair is constantly in a pony tail. Is there anything I can do? Like obviously not tie my pony tail too tight, I just can’t hair hair in my face at work or while i’m sweating (LOL).

  70. Cyn Tapia says:

How many packs do you use?

  71. Natasha Guerassimova says:

Hi I love your videos. I have a question. It’s near enough impossible to find walker tape in UK unless you’re planning to spend the same amount of money on post and packaging. M3 Clear tape is very popular. I just wanted to know if anyone else has ever used it and how long did it last for?
