♥Walker Double Sided Shine Free Tape 1/2″x3 Yards:

  1. Jamie Mitchell says:

Thank you so much. And how long should the hair be to wear them?

  2. 52weeksofbeauty says:

They could definitely work with your hair Jamie…you would just need a good amount of them – since your hair is so thick. And you probably would only need 14″ length or so at first…so it looks more natural.

  3. 52weeksofbeauty says:

Thanks Lori!!! And yeah I agree – not sure if it was obvious or not (wink) but, I love Walker!! 🙂

  4. 3amParanormal says:

i love the videos and cant wait to try my extensions this way but i have had issues with useing conditioner on the glue that has made for extensions, it makes my extensions fall right out. will i have the same issue with the tape?

  5. 52weeksofbeauty says:

No not at all! I had the same problem you did with the glue in way. The tape last through all sorts of shampoos and conditioners!

THIS has got to be one of my favorite comments EVER. It keeps crossing my mind – and makes me so happy! Thank you!! 🙂

  23. Kel Mor says:

I’m so glad that I stumbled across your website. I used to have thick hair but as I’ve gotten older and from coloring my hair its thinned out a lot. I bought the clip in hair extensions for my hair but they won’t stay in my hair for long because of my hair being so fine. So I figured I would try the micro loop extension next. I did that and had them in for 3 weeks and couldn’t take it anymore. It hurt to sleep with them no matter how I tried to sleep and made my head itch all the time. .

  24. Kel Mor says:

I really want my extensions back again but I don’t want to deal with the pain or the itch again.. So I have a few questions: When you sleep with the tape in extensions, do they pinch at all for you? My hair is a medium brown in color, i used to be blonde like you and absolutely love it but it damaged my hair so much with the coloring. Is it possible to put two colors into your hair so that it would create almost a highlighted effect and if so, do you know of anyone who has done this?

  25. 52weeksofbeauty says:

Hi! No – they do not pinch at all while you are sleeping. And – you definitely can put two colors in your hair. I do not know anyone yet who has tried that – but that could certainly work…

  26. idunnonicole says:

What if your flat iron only goes to 350?

  27. Neva Leeloo says:

Do you ever used (100% virgin)coconut oil to remove the tapes?a few months ago i had glued in extensions.i put it all by myself, it was well done! and then i wanted to took them out. i had the special product (the same brand that the glue i used)to remove them so i used this, like it was said on the bottle, and it did not work very well.and so i put this oil on my glued extensions, wait a few minutes, and whoaaa it took them out so easily!!! you can use this oil to take care of your hair too <3

  28. Ashley Bilke says:

What do you recommend is the best way to sleep with such long extensions? This is my first time having 22in, they are so pretty and I dont want to mess them up.

  29. Ashley Bilke says:

Also! I have an issue with my top row showing through?! You can still see the tape…how would I fix this?

  30. 52weeksofbeauty says:

Side braid or pigtail braids and then after first week – you can do top knots too 🙂

  31. 52weeksofbeauty says:

Could be three reasons for that: The color of extensions is very diff from your roots or the weft was not placed right on your scalp line or if your hair is thin – you will have to shampoo/wash your hair every 1-2 days. This really helps cover and hide the weft again naturally. Thin hair gets weighted down very easily with natural oils and any extension can show through when hair is a little oily. Shampooing/blow drying really helps keep them hidden 🙂

  32. Sadie Drozda says:

Can you reuse your hair weft?

  33. Meredith Dean says:

I have thick straightened African American hair and I am currently growing out my pixie cut, will your first tape in method video work for me?

  34. 52weeksofbeauty says:

Yes – absolutely! After you peel off tape – shampoo or use soap on your weft (to get the remover cleared off) – then re-apply tape after the weft is dry again. There will be some stickiness left, but that is ok – bc it will help the tape adhere even better the next time!

  35. 52weeksofbeauty says:

Yes – I would suggest week 33 Fold Over Technique for you though instead!

  36. Hailey Dawn says:

Aw I just love you! xo so informative and fun 🙂

  37. shacara4yah says:

Hi! I love your videos. I just installed my tape ins using the walker 1/2 inch tape, in weft sections. The tape is holding but it doesn’t really feel flat. It feels like its just holding on to my hair. Could I have done something wrong?

  38. Małgorzata Borkowska says:

do you think it’s better to apply the whole extension at once, not in little pieces? just wondering.

  39. 52weeksofbeauty says:

I like wefts, but pieces look more natural…

  40. V Ouellette says:

How many times can you reuse the extensions?

  41. Maria Monsivais says:

What 100% human hair extension company do u recommend? I dont want any blended products thanks inadvance.

  42. Shannon Givens says:

I love love love my tape ins. your videos are great!
