  1. 13MsLeo says:

YEAH, new contest! I will be entering this one, even though I have won before 😉

  2. Gloria Shin says:

Aw I didn’t win 🙁 but yay for new giveaway!

  3. jessicagail2010 says:

Im new with the whole extension thing. I washed them once and i used trèsemè moisture. On my natural hair i use loreàl total repair 5 shampoo conditioner and the damage erase balm. They work fabulous even after i dyed my hair over a dozen times in the past year. Its true that it repairs hair to its soft before hair.

  4. MoiraS63 says:

Congrats to the winner!! 🙂 I have been using the L’Oreal Total Repair 5 Restoring Shampoo and conditioner. However I do alternate the conditioner, because I find it makes my hair frizz after a while. So I switch it out using the 10 leave in conditioner. Then a couple of sprays of the Macadamia Healing Oil Spray, works wonders. A friend gave me TRESemme Nourishing Rituals Liquid Gold Shine Therapy, love it!!!

  5. Haley Serna says:

I shampoo them twice (which helps with frizz) then condition them and once a month I use a deep conditioner to make them nice and soft. I also put argan oil on the ends when wet so they’re nice and shiny without because super greasy!

  6. Haley Serna says:

  7. Alexandra Corless says:

I use organix brazilian keratin therapy heat protection spray to prevent damage and I use organic brazilian keratin therapy anti brakeage therapy on the ends to keep them super soft… I only shampoo them about once a month and i use a deep conditioner about twice a month but im still experimenting with different ones im not sure on a favorite yet anf I use argan oil in them after every shampoo and after every deep conditioner. With that routine I have made hair extensions last about two years!

  8. 52weeksofbeauty says:

Yeah – maybe next time! Or the next time! 😉 Hopefully I can keep doing this contest 🙂

  9. 52weeksofbeauty says:

Hi Heather in Chi! I don’t know of a place that sells them individually – unfortunately. That would be great idea if someone did though! And – thank you for the super nice comment! xo!

  10. 52weeksofbeauty says:

Yeah it is so exciting! She hasn’t emailed me yet though – hopefully soon!!!! Thx for entering this new one! 🙂

  11. 52weeksofbeauty says:

Wow – Awapuhi Ginger by Organix has some amazing reviews on Amazon! I will definitely have to check this out!! Thx for the info and for entering!! 🙂

  12. 52weeksofbeauty says:

Wow – this is a FANTASTIC IDEA. I think it would work – with 1/4″ tape! I will try and hopefully do a video soon!

  13. 52weeksofbeauty says:

I LOVE Biosilk Oil Therapy – that has always been such a favorite of mine! 🙂

  14. 52weeksofbeauty says:

I will soon – I am just out of a lot of colors – waiting for new inventory! But – GREAT Idea – I will certainly do this!

  15. 52weeksofbeauty says:

Yeah! Go for it! It is open to everyone! 🙂

  16. 52weeksofbeauty says:

Yeah! Hopefully soon you will win! Keep trying! 🙂

  17. 52weeksofbeauty says:

Thanks so much Jessica! Wow – another product with amazing reviews on Amazon. Can’t wait to try the Loreal Repair Line…especially the balm!

  18. 52weeksofbeauty says:

I am going to be broke after reading everyone’s entries! 😉 Add another on to my list that I now have to try. Thanks for sharing your info and entering! 🙂

  19. 52weeksofbeauty says:

Awesome – thank you for the tips and for entering!

  20. 52weeksofbeauty says:

Wow – 2 years?! AMAZING! Thanks for the info and for entering! 🙂

  21. Chriss89ty says:

Yeah, hopefully next time. Although, when I was finally able to watch the video, it was around 1:00am my time, haha. So it was pretty late over here. Anyways, I use a sulfate free Argan oil shampoo and conditioner on my hair and my extensions. I try to wash my extensions at least a few weeks or maybe once a month, if that. I also use and Argan oil heat protectant spray for both my hair and again, my hair extensions(when I have them in). …(cont’d)

  22. Chriss89ty says:

After when I was my extensions, I spray on them a leave-in hair conditioner that’s for hair extensions. It has an omega-3 oil in it and it helps to make it soft and kind of silky at the same time. It helps sometimes, but I don’t mind trying to find ways to help make it soft and silky again. 🙂

  23. Chriss89ty says:

Would it be okay if I suggest that maybe you could do something like a 2nd place and 3rd place winner in the next contest? It’s nice to have one person winning, but maybe you can give something else away for 2nd and 3rd place winners. 🙂 That way they get some advantage. Something to think about. 🙂

  24. Lori Duncan says:

Congrats to the winner! You’re going to love your new Miss Flirtys! So, my fave hair extension smoothing is a combo of using Aussie Mega 3-min Miracle, then followed of FX Silk Drops. I pretty much revived my fried European extensions this way.

  25. fairybutterfly1313 says:

Lucky girl. Hope more girls will enter so we can see all the products out there.

  26. Stephanie Fabian says:

I use Aussie 3 minute miracle and chi leave in conditioner.

  27. jbkidsco says:

i actually use olive oil. i leave it in for 24 hours when i take them out and then wash them and dry them before i put them back in.

  28. jbkidsco says:

i forgot…i also use aussie 3 min miracle and loreal repair in the shower as well

  29. Casey Liberty says:

I’m a guy and I would like to enter because I have mannequin headsthat wear extensions. When their extensions are wet, I spray 3-5 sparys of the Garnier Fructis brilliant shine style spray. After that sets for about 5 minutes, I comb out theextra and blow dry for a really silky feeling through the hair.

  30. Melissa Stevens says:

Congratulations SayduhhbeautyXo. So my hair extension routine is as follows I always keep them packaged when not in use and after 2/3 wears I wash them with chi shampoo and conditioner I also use and let sit for a couple hours chi leave in conditioner then wash out and let my hair extensions air dry. Once they are dry I use IC Hair Polisher/Protector Serum and they look good as new. They look great straight or Curly. That’s my routine and I am crossing my fingers my name gets picked. 🙂

  31. 52weeksofbeauty says:

Awesome – love these tips – thank you! And – maybe your name will get picked – hoping for you!! 🙂

  32. 52weeksofbeauty says:

Fabulous – hi “guy”! 😉 You can certainly enter – thank you for sharing your info!

  33. 52weeksofbeauty says:

    Awesome – thank you!!

  34. 52weeksofbeauty says:

Me too – this one is already making me wanna go shop – lots!!

  35. 52weeksofbeauty says:

    Thanks Stephanie!!

  36. 52weeksofbeauty says:

That would be a nice idea…I will definitely consider doing that soon. And can you let us know what brand names you use for shampoo and conditioner and leave in?

  37. 52weeksofbeauty says:

Fun! Thanks so much!!! I gotta try these FX Silk Drops!

  38. Kim Traicos says:

I use argan or morrocan oil all the time. I put it in my extensions wet when I let my hair air dry and also again every evening before plaiting it. It’s smells awesome too. I know there are alot of brands but I’ve found that even the cheaper versions work. The best treatment is plain old coconut oil, leave in for as long as you can – a few hours if you can and shampoo out – amazing!

  39. Scholastica Sigrid Agren says:

I use Schwarzkopf Gliss liquid keratin shampoo. It works amazing sometimes you don’t even need conditioner or detangler. For serum I use Schwarzkopf Gliss total repair 2 in 1 serum. It keeps hair soft and shiny. For detangling my holy grail is redken all soft heavy cream. If you have super dry damaged straw tangled hair then try this. You wont need a comb afterwards. This does it.1. What serum, conditioner, treatment, process do you use to keep your hair extensions silky soft and like new?

  40. Leslie Gomez says:

My fave is DermOrganic Intensitve Hair Masque

  41. Chriss89ty says:

Thank you for considering my idea! 😀 And I apologize, I knew I was forgetting something, haha! The brand name of the shampoo and conditioner that I use is called one ‘n only Argan Oil and they’re both Moisture Repair Shampoo and Conditioner. And as for the leave-in conditioner for Hair Extensions, the brand name is called Naturelle: Biotera Hair Extension Care. And as for the heat protectant hair spray, it’s the same as the shampoo and conditioner(brand name).

  42. Ciara Rehbein says:

krissy> I watched your tape in hair extensions with walker tape about 3 months ago and I DID it!! thank you so much. (I use brazilian oil for my hair and its been awesome.) Thanks again.

  43. 52weeksofbeauty says:

Totally agree with coconut oil! Thx for entering and sharing! 🙂

  47. 52weeksofbeauty says:

  48. Ixis Slayzor says:

My favorites: Serum: Garnier frutis Sleek & shine anti frizz serum Conditioner: Garnier frutis Triple Nutrition (green bottle) also the color safe Garnier Treatment: one n’ only Aragon oil, hair mayonnaise , remy hair extension treatment Process I use to keep my hair extensions silky soft and like new: conditioning the hair when it’s only needed. 49. Amanda sheffield says:

i also loveee the organix cocconut milk serum it is amazing! and cheap! i also use the same shampoo and conditioner. My hair is very dry and thick and it does wonders, without it it is frizzy and just lion like lol!

  50. paigenk89 says:

  57. Gina McCready says:

First off I love your videos! I keep my extensions like new by using raw organic coconut oil! It works wonders not only for your extensions but for your hair too! I saturate my extensions in the oil then put them in a plastic bag and warm them with a blow dryer for like a minute, after that I shampoo them with the Moroccan oil shampoo and use a dab or the Moroccan oil leave in conditioner and vwah-la beautiful silky new again!

  58. 3amParanormal says:

  61. Casey Liberty says:

Hi Christy, I decided it would better to tell u my whole hair extensions care routine. Sorry I just keep seeing people putting their whole routine and I just thought I should update my entry in the contest:)1: wash out the extensions(I started using your apple cider and baking soda method. Works wonders!!!) I use your method to clear all the extra gunk that’s already in it so the hair doesn’t get heavy when I put other stuff in it2:put in lore’al anti breakage shampoo in than rinse with

  62. Casey Liberty says:

Lukewarm water making sure To get it all out.3: put in lore’al anti breakage conditioner and let sit for about 15 minutes, than rinse again with lukewarm water.4:apply 3-5 sprays of the Garnier fructis shine spray and let sit for 5-10 minutes.5:comb out extra shine spray and any water trapped in the hair shaft and let air dry under a fan for about 30 minutes. Than if needed, use a blow dryer to completely dry and style hair. Hope this helps Christy:)

  63. cutiepie92ful says:

My fav syrome is Moroccan oil. I just put it threw my exstentions after washing . Also initial 7 is really good as well

  64. dippy1257 says:

I use elvive loreal extraordinary oil. It’s great I use it in so many ways. It’s a great overnight deep conditioner on dry hair & a great serum after washing. Plus you can’t beat Aussie leave in conditioner spray. x I’ve used a set of old extensions to try the tape ins I’ve gone from bleach blonde to brown, so I’ve used small pieces as flashes looks good & they feel great. Next step is my full head.

  65. 13MsLeo says:

I’m playing again for a set of clip-ins! Love my tape-ins so much!!I just use 2 products for detangling/conditioning my hair/extensions after I wash them. First, I use the “It’s a 10” leave-in treatment and just spritz it in all over the top of my head and the length of my extensions. Then, I take 2 pumps of Moroccan Oil and apply it evenly throughout the length of my extensions first, then put whatever is left on the top of my head, avoiding the tape of my extensions.

  66. 52weeksofbeauty says:

Fun info – thank you so much for entering!! And Good Luck…again! 😉

  80. NancyGonzalezzzz says:

Since extensions to not get oily like your normal hair I was them when I feel the products I use for example a heat protectant is weighing them down, I typically wash them once every 2 months or if I decided to dye my hair and extensions. When I do wash them i first shampoo then with my macadamia oil shampoo, second I use my macadamia oil deep repair mask and let them sit with the product for a good 15-30 minutes so that way they get the moisture their missing. Once the conditioner is rinsed out

  81. NancyGonzalezzzz says:

I take some of my one ‘n only argan oil treatment and rub some in my palms to heat up the oil then after run my fingers through the hair, to get extra moisture, this product is amazing it makes them extremely soft, not frizzy and also repairs dry hair. You can find it at Sally’s beauty supply. After all of that I let them air dry and then they are ready to wear. That’s how I personally keep my extensions in tip top shape and they last easily 4 months considering that I wear them everyday.

  82. NancyGonzalezzzz says:

Hope this was helpful. Thanks -Nancy

  83. MissBeautyBuzz says:

i love your videos! i LOVE tape ins too, i’ve tried almost all extensions and tape ins are the BEST! i usually get them done at the salon but it can be very pricey so about a week ago when i had them out i did them myself, your way and wow! cost nothing but the tape and they feel amazing,. the products i use on my extensions are, the additional lengths shampoo and conditioner, addition lengths vitamin spray, additional lengths heat defense, additional lengths serum and Moroccan argan oil 🙂 xx

  84. Julie Ceballos says:

Hi!!!I shampoo with Macadamia Rejuvenating Shampoo. Condition with Macadamia Moisturizing Rinse every other day. If I don’t wash my tape in’s I use Powder Refresh 01 by Redken. I put Macadamia Healing Hair Treatment on the days I don’t condition. I put Redken Intense Anti-Snap Leave In Conditioner then Redken Smooth for heat protection. O blow dry then flat iron. I purify once every two weeks with Macadamia Purify. Lots of work but worth it?

  85. Julie Ceballos says:

Lots of work but worth it!!!Is what I meant 🙂

Wash it out really good, and then I use the , conditioner and run my fingers through it to make sure the hair is coated, and I leave it on for 2 minutes. Then I rinse it out really well.
