Breaks my heart to see how upset you are! That girl obviously was doing something wrong or is just new to hair extensions and was maybe a bit naive as to how much hair we lose on a day to day basis. I’ve been wearing tape for years and never had issues like that. Like you, my hair is way healthier since switching to the tape method. I’m glad you’re so honest though and hope you keep making hair extension videos because you’re my favourite person to watch on YouTube!

  2. fairybutterfly1313 says:

Perhaps she’s on medication and doesn’t realize that can affect her hair. Any health problem causes hair problems even stress. I think it’s unfair of her not to talk to you at least. Maybe she should take a deep breath and relax and be sure she’s doing it the correct way. You are a great girl for even reaching out to her so much. Just keep up the good work!

  3. yangpny says:

I’m sry that u haveto endure such mean comments frm a customer & yes that was straight up bullying!Frm my experience & as a customer,u r doin the right thing, which ur trying to help her.Honestly,a lot of businesses dont care&just to ensure that u r not alone, people get attack from their customers all the time & in the business world, we kind of have to expect that some people will like the product & some will hate it so put on a smile & be strong.i hope u dont stop doin ur thing due to this 🙂

  4. Audrey Dupuis says:

Please don’t listen to her rude comments! You seam like such a sweet girl, I mean you go out of your way for free to help all of us! I really appreciate it!! 🙂 Have you ever tried glue in extensions? Whats your opinion about them?

  5. Amber A says:

Stay strong! Don’t worry about all this. You’re a great woman and she is obviously a bully. You’re a nicer person than I am haha I would have said some other things for SURE. Thank you for at least making a video to discuss the situation though. And keep being yourself!

  6. LaReyna Yolie Reyes says:

You share your passion of hair extensions with us. And have offered your knowledge. It may not work for everyone, but you are not responsible for what happened to that woman. She had no right to come after you. This may be a health problem for her. Perhaps she should go to a Dr. And be sure she don’t have any medical issues. I hope you feel better. Remember your not responsible for what happened to her unfortunate incident. Enjoy your Labor day weekend.

  7. juliemegjusty says:

Anybody that blames the YouTuber for HER mistakes is WHACK! Everybody knows this is not something you should do without TONS of research! YOU even say that over & over! You NEVER said you were a professional! You only say this is what works for you! I am VERY thankful for your videos & have been wearing your hair extensions exactly like you do for about 3 months & I looooove em!!!! Thank you!!! The hair she lost was her natural daily hair loss- NO QUESTION! We love you!! No worries sweet friend!

  8. Haley Serna says:

I am so sorry this happened to you:( don’t worry about what one person says! I am a big fan of your channel and I know many other do as well. Keep your head up and don’t worry about it! I am sooo sorry this person made you so upset I’m proud that you are able to talk about this openly and taking it so well it takes a lot! Feel better please!

  9. dippy1257 says:

Hi Christy, do NOT let this person get you down. You are a beautiful person inside & outside which comes across on every video. I am hoping this 1 person doesn’t put you off doing more videos. Elaine. x

  10. MoiraS63 says:

Hi!! Please do not take blame for anyone messing up their own hair. Maybe she did something wrong, I mean noone holds a gun to my head and forces me to do anything, youtube or not. You seem very upset, please do not be. ♥ You are NOT horrible, I never recall u saying your a PROFESSIONAL. I know I want to do this, and will one day. Stay strong sweetie!! It never seizes to amaze me how some people take YOUTUBE so damn seriously…come one!

  11. jbkidsco says:

ok…i’m leaving this comment because i too was freaked out when i took mine out..so what i did was (and i know this sounds gross but…) i have been gathering the hair i loose every time i wash my hair and saving it to compare to what i lost when i took my extension out (which i saved). it is the same. your hair feels very thin when you first take them out because you have had more hair in for weeks. i’m not saying it is NOT damaging but if done right it is not going to make you bald.

  12. jbkidsco says:

i ran out of characters…lol. we do A LOT of damaging things to our hair…heat, teasing, etc. if we didn’t we would look so cute…ha ha

  13. Codiegirl101 says:

Please don’t let this person ruin your day! Loved your video! You are such an amazing person and I don’t know who would do or say something like that to you. Hope you have a wonderful day or at least a better day than you already are! You’re my favorite person to watch on YouTube! 🙂 bye

  14. Hailey Dawn says:

you are the absolute sweetest person ever, you kindness just shines through each video. Your passion and videos have helped so many girls but unfortunately we cant please everyone. keep doing your thing girl, you are inspiring to so many. Xox much love

  15. Hailey Dawn says:

ps. Hair extensions are a Life saver and so are you!

  16. kelli patterson says:

I think you are Awesome! I would never have attempted this on my own hair without watching you and researching. I have hair just like you, thin. It is scary when you first take them out, I saw hair all over too. I asked my husband, “does my hair look thinner to you?” He said no, I was use to the thickness of my hair with the extensions in. Keep those videos coming. You can’t make everyone happy.

  17. Lori Duncan says:

That girl that complained has more than hair and scalp issues. She needs mental therapy. It kills me that she has done this to you. I’m in tears. Anyway, you know from time to time you’re going to find a follower, customer, whatever, blame the whole world for their mistakes. It just goes with the territory. Sometimes I have to deal with guests like that and I’ve learned to just pray for them, and move on. God bless you, never stop doing your good work! We all love you.

  18. Lori Duncan says:

And by the way, it sounds to me like she had some sort of allergic reaction. Just saying.

  19. Kathy Metta says:

I am so sorry that this one person has brought you down. I tried tape in hair extensions after finding your channel and want to thank you as you have been nothing but helpful anytime I have asked questions. I really appreciate all of the time and effort that you have put into your channel. Keep doing what you are doing and know that there are many of us that support you!

  20. Kayla McMillan says:

That is so sad that someone would do that to that to you, after all she said to you and you still wanted to help. You are a good person. I understand how she freaked out I have thick hair and even tho I have never had tape ins I put my hair up a lot and I have had my hair in a bun for the past few days and when I JUST brushed it out there was a ton of hair that fell out cause it has been up and I think cause her hair was thick it looks like a lot. at least that’s what I have noticed with my hair

  21. Alison Kelly says:

We love you Kristy, just keep swimming xxx

  22. hairextensionlove says:

Dont worry over 5 weeks we lose approx at least 2500 strands of hair and that looks a lot at once. But its NORMAL.Please keep making videos as i love them ans i am sure i am not the only one:) Cant wait for the next video.XXX

  23. TheChy101 says:

It’s normal to lose hair. I lost a hand full of hair when I had extensions. Hair grows back. She’s stupid. Thanks to you I started making and using tape in hair extensions. Great job. Keep it up

  24. DiiJiiGii says:

I’ve had roommates with really thick hair & they easily lose that much hair in the shower normally. She was totally overreacting a bully. She knew she was wrong & manipulative and that’s why she wouldn’t talk to you more. You were being honest & kind & she took advantage of that. Shame on her. If she’s so interested in having her hair done by a pro, she knows where the salons are. She was completely manipulative. Shake off her toxicity. Your friends support you!

  25. Kyla Marie says:

I have tape in hair extenions in but where I live, nobody sells the remover… Is there anyway to remove them without remover? Thanks

  26. kapowlol says:

    love your hair! : )

  27. Elena Skreka says:

I love tape ins and you were my inspriration!!! Keep up the videos! we love you so much! don’t be sad any more , you have many fans and many people that never had such problem.

  28. jessicagail2010 says:

Awe. I hope you get to feeling better soon. Your beautiful. Your hair is beautiful. The lady just needs to learn for herself what she can and can’t do with her hair.

  29. victoria schwambach says:

I just want to say that you are amazing! I follow your videos and i follow your instagram! You are amazing amazing amazing! never will i ever try any other kind of long-term hair extensions. Everything you have taught us has been great. Clearly what happened with the one girl was a freak accident. I have been doing tape ins for maybe a month and a half AND I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE THEM!!!!! Keep posting videos so i can keep watching! xoxo -victoriiaarosee

  30. victoria schwambach says:

Oh and also i have done this method on my bestfriend and she LOVES them just as much as i do! All of my friends want to get them done now! Theyre all saving up money to get hair extensions! Theyre perfect for high ponies as I am a cheerleader, also have a baby cousin who is 2 and sometimes she will yank at my hair. I havnt had any bad experiences.

  31. kimmk401 says:

You did your best, unfortunately it won’t work for everyone exactly the same, but you have clearly made that clear in your videos. I have recently used the walker method and it was amazing. I still have them in and NO damage…no damage…thanks for an excellent way to have great hair…

  32. DiiJiiGii says:

@Kyla Marie, can you order the remover off ebay from Christy’s store? She has the link directly to the Walker Weft Release in the description bar of some of her extension videos. That’s how I got mine. Hope that helps! 🙂

  33. 13MsLeo says:

I have personally done the Walker tape un-sandwich method 3 times or so and have had NO DAMAGE!! If she won’t talk to you, I think it may be a scam…

  34. 13MsLeo says:

That amount of hair she showed was NOTHING – even with my short hair I lose more than that over 5 weeks. You have saved me thousands of dollars with your tape-in videos!

  35. Casey Liberty says:

When you have that little extra adhesive left in ur hair christy, cover and I mean COVER your hair in those sections with non silicone based conditioner and leave it on for like 15 minutes. afterward, comb out ur hair with a fine toothed comb, and ur hair should be mostly clear of adhesive. And ur hair has definitely grown and gotten thicker. I hope that girl realizes that there is no reason for her to blame u or ur hair extensions.

  36. CairΞnΞ says:

Chrisy sells the remover. I buy from her.

  37. DiiJiiGii says:

I had to remove about an inch of weft that was too close to my face. Today was my first time washing the tape ins installed following Christy’s instructions exactly. I used the Walker Weft Release on the small segment and it lifted right away. No hair attached to it. No hair pulled. I snipped out the segment of weft and lost no hair at all. Works just like Christy said.

  38. DiiJiiGii says:

If she does leave mean comments everywhere, I’d be so embarrassed for her. I hope she rethinks that very bad plan. Hopefully by today she’s ashamed of her behavior and will handle this misunderstanding maturely.

  39. 52weeksofbeauty says:

I can’t thank you enough for your comment…it was the first one that came in and touched my heart so much. I was out shopping with Pat and I instantly felt better after reading what you wrote…so thank you so much from the bottom of my heart…

  40. 52weeksofbeauty says:

Aww – thank you so much to my “future mom” <3 🙂

  41. 52weeksofbeauty says:

Thank you so much. 🙂 You are so right about the potential and possible ups and downs of the business world. I am just so sensitive and would never be like that to someone. It just crushed me. I need to be emotionally stronger…lol…somehow, some way. Thanks again – you are such a sweetheart for taking the time out to share your encouraging words…

  42. 52weeksofbeauty says:

Hi Audrey! Thank you over and over for such an adorably sweet comment! And – yes, I have tried glue-in. They are cheap and quick – but I found they do really damage your hair and cause bald spots. 🙁

  43. 52weeksofbeauty says:

LOL – your “for SURE” comment made me laugh. 🙂 Thank you so much Amber for reaching out to me and saying such sweet things to me 🙂

  44. 52weeksofbeauty says:

Awww LaReyna, that was so sweet. Yes – that could definitely be true. Or – maybe her hair just sheds 200 hairs a day. If she did – that would be 7000 hairs in 5 weeks. I know not all of those 7000 would be around the sticky part – but at least what she held seemed like a possible amount over 5 weeks time… Thank you so much for what you wrote.. 🙂

  45. 52weeksofbeauty says:

I LOVE THIS!!! Makes me SO happy to read these words you wrote!! It means A LOT to me to have subscribers/viewers like you… Thank you for being soooooo incredibly sweet. <3

  46. 52weeksofbeauty says:

Hi Haley, thank you thank you thank you!! I am feeling a lot better now…I adore what you said and am so thankful for you taking the time out to send such a precious comment to me. 🙂 🙂 🙂

  47. 52weeksofbeauty says:

Thank you so very much Elaine…your comment touches my heart and makes me smile. <3 🙂

  48. 52weeksofbeauty says:

HA! I definitely agree! YouTube is a fun place to grab new ideas from and see what others are doing/liking. It is still smart to research a lot beforehand too. I love what you wrote and thank you SO MUCH for all the sweet things you said… <3 <3 <3

  49. 52weeksofbeauty says:

Thank you so much for leaving this comment. It definitely does feel a little thinner RIGHT at first bc of the change in thickness when you first take them out. You are so right. And – I am glad you have been collecting them to see! What funny (not gross) and great feedback! 🙂

  50. 52weeksofbeauty says:

Hiiiii! I can’t express enough how sweet your comment is to me. I really appreciate what you said so much and am so thankful for people like you in my YouTube life <3 & 🙂

  51. 52weeksofbeauty says:

Hi Hailey! AWWWW – your comments melt my heart!!! I agree – we can’t please everyone. I have to try to understand that somehow – lol. Thank you SO SUPER MUCH…much love back!

  52. Haley Serna says:

Your welcome! Glad your feeling better(:

  53. Tori Hamilton says:

hi christy 🙂 i’ve been watching your videos for awhile now, and you inspired me to get tape in extensions because my hair is a lot like yours, its thin and doesn’t grow and i’m not a big fan of my natural color so i go a bit blonder which causes breakage. i’m absolutely in love with my long hair now, and i just wanted to thank you for putting these videos out there, you’re awesome for it and very informative! i hope you keep doing what you’re doing. xx 🙂

  54. stricheal says:

Hi Christy, I wrote to you before your hair videos really help me with the tape ins. I had also watched other video how tos before deciding to do it. Like I said in other comments I did lose hair, I did have some breakage but I use artificial hair which is heavier then real hair, I left it in almost 2 months, I styled it, and pulled it up. But either way I’m sure the more you do to it the more hair you will lose……you are adding alot of wieght to your natural hair. to be Continued

  55. stricheal says:

Chirsty you have always said I’m just telling you all this how I do tape ins. Naver claimed to be a professional. Most people know when taking advice on YouTube its at your own risk. I’m sorry that she made you feel so bad when you were trying to help her. She probably did not follow your directions on taking it out I’ve done it you cannot rush it is a process devote a whole day. Do not feel bad Christy your great

  56. Sara Rosalie says:

I tried tape in my hair is a lil more thinner than yours at the back and left them in for just over a month. I used walker tape too and it didnt damage or leave me bald. What I did to remove was use salon pro exclusives super hair bond remover, then a intensive conditioner left it for 10 mins washed tht out then shampoo’d n condition all products were moroccan argan oil extract and hair bk to normal in 2 washes no damage. My hairdresser uses ur technique after watching your videos. Xxx

  57. Sara Rosalie says:

The only prob I had was you could see the tape at the top of my head when my hair moved so I am going to try the thinner walker tape nxt time…. keep up the good work. Dont be down, things dont wrk for everyone n the loss with thicker hair will look alot more than fine. Try at ur own risk none is your fault xxx

  58. Craftigirl says:

Hi Christy, My daughter who is 14 has been wanting extensions forever. After researching online I did find a company that sales hair wefting tape/ remover with tips and tricks. I have bought and used their tape several times. They have how to videos you can buy to show you how to make skin weft hair extensions. I then saw your video and I did my daughters hair using smaller hair weft sections. She loves it, her hair has actually gotten longer. No removal problems.

  59. 52weeksofbeauty says:

Hi Kelli! Thank you sooo much for your super kind and thoughtful comment. And – thank you to your husband too! 🙂 I ask my fiance’ all the time about my hair-extension-life ;). The thickness is definitely something we get used to after 5-8 weeks and it feels so diff when they are out. I like a break from extensions – but after a few days – I want them back in and I am over the “natural feeling” – lol Thx again…I truly appreciate you. 🙂

  60. 52weeksofbeauty says:

Sweet Lori – I am so thankful for you in my YT world… You have been there since the almost beginning and I am so thankful for that. And – I totally agree with praying for them – sometimes people say hurtful things and they probably are just going through something so hard…so I try to see and understand that. It’s hard though! ;( Thanks again Lori – so super much. Lotsa love!

  61. 52weeksofbeauty says:

So sweet Kathy – thank you for such a heartwarming comment. I truly appreciate you saying all of that – it really means a lot to me. <3

  62. 52weeksofbeauty says:

Hi Kayla, thank you for such a nice comment. I love what you wrote – bc it really does go to show how much hair we shed everyday – even without normally realizing it. It just is so shocking to see it all at once. I wonder how much hair would fall out if you had your hair in a bun for 5 weeks – eek! haha It would probably be the same as hers… Thx so much for being there for me. 🙂

  63. 52weeksofbeauty says:

Oh Alison…how could I not. I could almost cry sweet tears for Talia reading what you wrote. What she went through was so much harder than this could ever be and she was SO incredibly strong. Thank you for sharing her legacy and saying something so incredibly touching… <3 🙂

  64. 52weeksofbeauty says:

Hi…and thank you A TON! Seeing the #’s really help. I wish I would have thought of that – that night when we were emailing back and forth. I could have shared this with her and it may have helped her not worry so much. But – thank you again and again – your comment was so sweet and helpful… 🙂

  65. 52weeksofbeauty says:

Your comment makes me giggle…but not in a bad way. In a relieving way. That people DO see it correctly. People like you. I appreciate you so much and thank you thank you thank you…

  66. 52weeksofbeauty says:

Awww – thank you SO MUCH. I used to have a roommate too with thick hair – so I can totally relate to what you said! Comments like yours REALLY help me see the whole situation better. I agree that if she wasn’t trying to be a little manipulative, she would have talked to me…at some point. Even if she had to wait a day or two… And – so sweet that you say: “your friends”. I love reading that… <3

  67. 52weeksofbeauty says:

Hi Kyla – we already instagrammed back-n-forth, but just to let others know who may be reading this… any glue remover oil should work (or Chi Silk Infusion like you said worked for you). Just totally saturate weft on taped-in area and wait about 30-60 minutes. Then gently tug to remove. Then follow the steps on my shower video to get out residue. 🙂

  68. 52weeksofbeauty says:

U r so sweet! Thank you!

  69. 52weeksofbeauty says:

You are such a sweetheart Elena and I love you all too! Thank you soooo much, your words make my heart smile. <3 & 🙂

  70. 52weeksofbeauty says:

Your comment is so so sooooo sweet and nice – thank you TONS!! I am feeling better and it’s bc of people like you… <3

  71. 52weeksofbeauty says:

Hi Victoria! I LOVE reading what you wrote – makes me sooo happy to hear feedback like this! 🙂 LOVE the best friend, high pony and baby cousin updates…SO fabulous to know all of that!!! 🙂 Thanks so much for sharing! xoxo2!

  72. 52weeksofbeauty says:

Reading comments like yours REALLY make me feel better. Thank you sooooo much for being so sweet and sending me such a wonderful comment with happy feedback. Warms my heart. 🙂 <3

  73. 52weeksofbeauty says:

Yes, I do – thank you for letting her know! 🙂

  74. 52weeksofbeauty says:

I 100% agree with you on the hair loss! If I had thick hair like hers – my loss after 5 weeks would be the same – maybe even more. Thank you SO MUCH for your sweet comment and I love that I am saving you $! That makes me super happy!!! 🙂 🙂 🙂

  75. 52weeksofbeauty says:

Thanks Casey! I have never tried this! Have any specific conditioner you would recommend to us?

  76. 52weeksofbeauty says:

Yes – eBay under username: twoplumsup 🙂 Eventually it will be sold on my website too…

  77. 52weeksofbeauty says:

I am so glad it worked for you! 🙂 Weft Release works better than anything I have tried yet! Great update – thank you so much for sharing this!

  78. 52weeksofbeauty says:

    I hope so too… 🙁

  79. 52weeksofbeauty says:

Hi Twin, I mean Tori! 😉 haha Your hair type and color preference DO sound the same as mine! I am so happy you are loving your long hair and thank you so much for sharing this with me! xo!

  80. 52weeksofbeauty says:

Awww thank you A LOT for your updates and super sweet words. I agree – it does take time to go through the removal process. Taking them out is super quick. Just washing hair 3 times can be a bit timely though. Hopefully when Walker makes that new residue removing shampoo – the removal process will go even smoother! 🙂 Thanks again…I truly appreciate what you wrote. <3

  81. 52weeksofbeauty says:

Thank you Sara – this is an amazing update on another way to remove them. I haven’t tried it this way – but I may soon! 😉 And – that is so fun to hear that your hairdresser uses this technique too! Love that! 🙂

  82. 52weeksofbeauty says:

I have to wash my hair every 1-2 days, otherwise you can see a bit of the tape on the top calic-y (word?!) part of my hair. 1/4″ is SO tiny and an amazing tape size to try – especially for the very top. And – if you can find hand tied hair for the top too – even better! 🙂 xo!

  83. 52weeksofbeauty says:

Amazing to hear!!! Thank you so much for letting me know this. Updates/feedback like this REALLY make me happy 🙂

  84. Casey Liberty says:

I use tresseme anti-breakage conditioner to get the extra gunk off my mannequins hair without breaking off the hair from the root:)

  85. alexbrynna says:

This vid was such perfect timing for me!!! I just saw u uploaded it and I took my hair out last night and am extensionless as we speak. Ill email u tomorrow if I get a chance 😀 I am SO sad that u had to go through this 🙁

  86. Crystal says:

thank you for your videos. My hairdresser did my tape ins yesterday but she really messed up. I cried the whole day because it is really visible that I ‘m wearing extensions (earlier I wore utip extensions and I did it myself and it really wasnt visible but it started to be dreads so it had to be away) so I decided to make it myself. I’ve just ordered hair and I hope I’ll be able to do it myself. Again thanks a lot girl<3

  87. Lori Duncan says:

I can’t wait to get my extensions back in. It’s been a long summer and here I’m out in the sun every day, so I thought I’d give my hair a break. It has grown though! Yippee! I love summer but I miss my longer, thicker hair. Since I’ve gone most of the summer without my tapeins, because my hair is so fine and straight, it just wants to kink up and matt. I’ve just been throwing I a few clipins, clipped upside down then I wear ponies or updos and you’d never mp know my hair wasn’t that long.

  88. prettybri0707 says:

Hey Christy! Love your videos 🙂 So I was wondering what shampoo you use on a regular basis with your tape ins in? Currently I use a very moisturizing shampoo, its the raw shea butter shampoo from Shea Moisture and wanted to know if that would be ok with tape ins?!?!? It the only shampoo I like using!!

  89. 52weeksofbeauty says:

Nice – thank you for the info! 🙂

  90. 52weeksofbeauty says:

Nice – thank you for the info! 🙂

  91. 52weeksofbeauty says:

  97. Lori Duncan says:

Oh absolutely clip them in upside down when doing an updo or even a pony. Less pinching and less likely to show. Since your natural hair is going upwards anyway, it’s just an easier fix. Hope it works for you!

Awe Christy it breaks my heart to see you so sad. You have to be the most passionate/honest person I’ve ever met and what you do for all the woman you don’t even know on your own time is very special. I’ve learned so much from you and not only have I learned things from you about all diff beauty secrets but you’ve also made me feel better about myself and not feel alone in the battle of the hair issues. Lets face it girls when we’re having a bad hair day it makes us feel like crap (cont)

  100. Kel Mor says:

Christy gives us so many pointers on products she uses and things she does to make herself look and feel beautiful you won’t even find many hair dressers out there that will give as much advice or help with ideas like that. Christy I think you’re doing something very wonderful for total strangers and I know for myself if it wasn’t for you, I wouldn’t have felt beautiful again. Keep up the good work and try not to let it effect you so much. I know its hard bc you have such an amazing heart (cont

  101. Kel Mor says:

but try your best to know that you are helping many other woman out there with low self esteems to not feel like crap but instead to feel BEAUTIFUL and just knowing that will hopefully make you feel better over time. (((Hugs)))

  102. 52weeksofbeauty says:

  106. 3amParanormal says:

Im so sorry hun, i have lost more hair than what she showed you, by doing the glue in method. Since i have been doing the tape-ins, which is twice now, i have hardly lost any hair. when im ready to take them out i use 91% isoprop alchohol, they fall right out. i use dove intence conditioner, run my comb through, wash with Dove shampoo, rinse and repeat with the conditioner. i have had no problems with my hair falling out like that. i feel bad for her, but she shouldnt have attacked you like that

  107. 3amParanormal says:

My wedding is in 9 days, im counting down.. I Will be wearing tape-ins. i cant wait. thank you so much for showing all of us girls the tape-in way. it has made my hair routine so much easier. keep your head up. im grateful for what you do…<3

  108. Kim Traicos says:

My heart just breaks for you. This girl that had issues with her extensions made two errors firstly you didn’t develop the tape and so actually has nothing to do with you. Being horrible to you is ridiculous. Secondly if you are impatient you will pull out more hair. The extensions and methods don’t damage or break hair humans do! Thank you for sharing all of your experiences! I love your videos

  109. 52weeksofbeauty says:

Hi Jessica… thank you so much! What a doll you are!! Big hugs!!

  110. 52weeksofbeauty says:

Awww – this is SOOOOOOOO amazing and touching. I’m so sorry to hear about your friend… Your comment melts my heart and I am so happy to be here for you in any way that I can! Lotsa love and smiles!!

  111. 52weeksofbeauty says:

Thank you hun…so much!!! So the 91%…I tried that and it didn’t work for me – can u let me know how you use it? That would be an awesome backup method to recommend to some girls who cannot get Weft Release in their countries. And – Congratulations on your wedding!! We are engaged at the same time – how fun! And I am grateful for you too!! xo!

  112. 52weeksofbeauty says:

Awww – thank you Kim so much! What a sweetheart you are. Your kind words are very touching – thank you again and again… <3

  113. Kerri BFitness says:

You are amazing! I dealt with something like this with a client a month or so ago and I cried for a week when I couldn’t help this person after she attacked me, but now I know there are people out there who will never be pleased with anything – ever. You are awesome – don’t change a thing and its obvious you care about people!!!

  114. Kerri BFitness says:

    …and I recorded a similar video after too 🙂

  115. 52weeksofbeauty says:

Thank you so much! I love your video about the TCA peel – I want to try it!! Don’t think I could hide for a month though – lol!

  116. Karlie Stoe says:

you are just such an incredible and inspiring person. lots of people would have just got angry and nasty and attacked right back but no! even after, what i can only imagine to be extremely rude things she said to you,you continued to offer help and reached out to her with your kindness and genuine care! you are my favorite youtuber ! you have a beautiful smile that lights up every video you are very beautiful and so sweet…

  117. 52weeksofbeauty says:

Awww – Karlie – you gave me chills!! What a doll you are for saying such super sweet things to me. I REALLY appreciate your warm comments…makes me so happy to hear that. 🙂 🙂 🙂

  118. Karlie Stoe says:

I love that you replied to all of my comments just another little thing you do to prove you care. I swaer you are just such a great roll model to young women. You are honest sincere modest and so kind if only our celebrities were as good of roll models as you are.. you handled that with such level headedness, I don’t think I would have been able to respond that way myself, but you are just so kind and sincere God bless 🙂

  119. 52weeksofbeauty says:

God Bless you too!! You are such an angel…your comments really are so super sweet and I am so appreciative of them Karlie. Huge hugs and endless thanks… <3 🙂

  120. Switcher Bell says:

It’s all about perception, and she was probably just upset and you were an easier target. I love your videos and I’m glad you kept making them after this. You’re actually the reason I’m finally taking the plunge and getting them. <3

  121. Freda Davis says:

You are amazing. So amazing that I’ve been literally stuck in a you-YouTube spiral! It’s 3 hours past my”bed time” and I’m still not stopping! Ok, So, my friend and I are doing these tape in extensions next week. I’m growing out my hair and my hubby IS TOTALLY going to give me a hard time and tell me that I won’t be able to grow it out with extensions. I saw that your hair loss great and I don’t see breakage where it would be if the tape did that. Just love you already 🙂 ty ty ty!

  122. Freda Davis says:

    Looks** not loss**

  123. 52weeksofbeauty says:

This is SO sweet – thank you! And – yay! Let me know what you think of them! 🙂

  124. 52weeksofbeauty says:

haha! Love hearing that! And – yes – no breakage. The tape comes out all in one piece and doesn’t take your hair with it. The worst part is seeing what you normally shed all at once – eek! 😉 Thx for the sweet comment! 🙂

  125. Rommy Colman says:

f that hoe !! what a cow giving you a go when it wasnt even a professional putting it in tell her to go cry to mummy dumb bitch!

  126. Baby Jean says:

  127. Lawanda Perthel says:

Thanks for your honesty and I think you handled it with grace! I usually do sew-ins and I am really excited I stubbled upon tape-ins I’m excited to try them out!!

  128. Michelle Pay says:

I just began watching your videos and I think they are so informative and helpful… Ive tried watching them in order and that is why im watching this one but as I’m watching, I saw how heartbroken u are with this girls comments. Im sorry!! No one should ever feel that way for trying to help. That girl obviously has some issues. If she uses her hair for professional reasons then go and spend the money with a professional and get a life! I think you’re great in the few minutes i’ve watched you and thank you for taking your precious time in helping other women look their best at an affordable price. You dont have to but you still do. Thats more than alot of us can say! Keep your head up, you’re great!!! Haters be gone!!!! lol xoxo

  129. Susan Daniells says:

I use the Product WEN, which is a cleansing Conditioner instead of regular shampoo. I would like to try the Tape Hair Extensions. Do you think this product will affect the hold of the tape to the hair?

  130. Anna thomas says:

  131. Cari Blackburn says:

I am so sorry she attacked you like that! I have been watching your videos and I just love your personality! You are so sweet and kind! Just remember that there is ALWAYS going to be someone that isn’t satisfied for whatever reason 🙂 I am planning on trying this method and ordering extensions from you… I love the thought that if something goes haywire or I have questions that there is someone that will help me! I have the exact same hair as you except mine is brown… Mine is too thin for my taste once it is past my shoulders. Anyway… Keep your chin up, I know this video was from a while back as your prob over it by now… But I just wanted to give support!

  132. Angela Koehn says:

I was just looking for info on the tape ins and I dont need to look further then your videos! Thank you because you have eased my worries about trying the tape ins. Ive always wanted long hair but I have hair like yours…thin and I have thyroid issues. 🙁 I finally have the hope of normal hair again!!! My next treat to myself is tape ins…when I have the extra cash. Keep up the great videos and ill stay subscribed! 🙂

  133. Deborah Townsend says:

After taking tape in extensions out can they be used again or do you have to start over with a new set of hair?

  134. vogamadrid2511 says:

You are very helpfull and you are not pay for this so that woman should not say just ANYTHING rude to you!

  135. Hertie Sears says:

I hope this reaches you in good spirits! As I see it, you are beautiful person who is sharing your experience with those of us who love to pamper our own self. I, and I’m sure others really appreciate for sharing your story. Any real thinking adult most realize no two people are alike. If something worked for you may or may not work for you. IT’S LIKE DIETS, duhhhh!!!!!I have watched and researched on my own about this glue technique and i will use this at MY OWN RISK and so should everyone else.Last but not least, you seem to be a very sweet person who enjoys helping others. 137. clipinqueen says:

F that silly bi$&h! She is ridiculous. Not your fault. do not take those comments to heart. Love you

  138. allson smalley says:

I just started watching your videos because I am thinking about getting tape in extensions and the fact you have thin hair like me too helps that much more! I think this video is great not a lot of people would share people’s negative reviews of their product so the fact you did this just shows how honest you are, even though we don’t know all the facts about what went wrong with her. great job 🙂

  139. Rory Lewis says:

Sorry to chime in to the love feat here, but the girl has a point. Don’t dismiss her. Tape extensions have a “safe” reputation but they can be deadly for your hair. Lets not mistake that marketers have done a job on customers touting them as safe. For many with already damaged hair they can rip rows of hair out of your scalp leaving you with shorter, thinner hair than you started off with. Just because you guys like this youtuber and want to make her feel better, don’t just pacify her to keep her happy. TAPE EXTENSIONS BEING SAFE IS A LIE.

  140. Rory Lewis says:

Think about this. You’re attaching 2 wefts on one side and 2 more on the other to a thin line of hair with gummy adhesive. The weight is tremendous. The people who use them in the first place have already damaged, thin hair. How is that not going to damage your hair? Get real. Or not. But deal with the consequences.

  141. Katy Shilts says:

hun I just want to say thank you for making your videos they are all so helpfulthank you so much

  142. Tracy Wallington says:

Hello, I just wanted to say a big THANK YOU for all your wonderful videos! I’ve never bothered to comment on any video before but yours really are fantastic. Please don’t get upset by negative comments, it’s really not worth it and you’ll always get the odd one or two. I just wanted you to know that you and your videos are very much appreciated in the UK :0) Keep smiling lovely lady

  143. Jane Hatch says:

You are a nice person and all but omg I just wanted a simple yes or no, didn’t even get to end of the video lol hint for next time stop talking and going of subject so much.

  144. Amanda Brown says:

Don’t worry about people like that. People who blame others for their own stupidity are insecure and want to hurt others. Everything you have taught me have worked so well for me. I have thin hair too, when I found the tape in extensions my life has been rocked! Thank you! Hang in there! YOUR AMAZING!

  145. Julia Borovoy says:

Thank you so much for sharing all of your research findings and tip/tricks about hair extensions. Your channel is everything I’ve been looking for in an extension educator. Anyone and everyone who attempts the things they watch on YouTube is proceeding at their own risk. The thing is, the viewers have to be smart enough to know the difference between their own hair type, and that of the person posting the videos to make an educated decision on how to proceed in the safest way. Personally, my hair is exactly like yours- thin and fine- and that ALWAYS forces me to be smart about the research I do via YouTube. Thin haired girls just can’t do all the same things a thick haired girl could, and vice versa. SO many factors contribute to the success or failure of an attempt at something new like extensions, so…… keep calm and carry on my dear. You’re doing great 🙂

  146. Gwen Harper says:

Love your videos! You offer a bunch of great ideas, all for free!!! So thanks. Anybody that blames you for something that went wrong is an idiot. You should just give her your attorney’s # for any more complaints. No worries, dear!

  147. Milinda Macquarrie says:

You’re such a Sweetheart. Don’t let people get you down, you have helped me immensely over the last few months.

  148. Suzette Webber says:

Christy, it isn’t your fault that she was unreasonable and unwilling to even discuss a solution to the problem. Most of the time you can’t fix stupid, especially when someone won’t even listen. I would think it prudent to have all the products ready for the removal of the extensions BEFORE you need it, but that’s just me. I bought the weft release last night and will get the shampoo next even though I have only had the hair in for a day and a half. Proper planning prevents…..You are a sweetheart, this isn’t/wasn’t your fault and I’m sorry you had to go through that.

  149. Gina nonnameforever says:

Awww sweet Christy, this video made me feel sad for you . You didn’t ruin anyones hair!!!! I’m sorry that she hurt you. Your videos are informative, refreshing and I simply adore you. I’ve been ill again, so have loads of catching up to do. Smile…you’re beautiful

  150. easternhair says:

great video! thanks for posting this!

  151. Erika Fox says:

Hey dear dont cry and just forget it.. your videos are so informative and i really love them! Keep smiling and keep posting videos

  152. Granny LaLa says:

Hormones can cause you to lose more hair than usual too. She might have also put in too heavy of wefts also. There’s no telling what she did. You’re telling what works for you the rest is up to your audience to do what is right for them, it’s trial and error for everyone. Don’t worry about her.

  153. Megan Peterson says:

Do you have to blow dry them when you get out of the shower every time?

  154. Sequin Gardner says:

I’m on my 3rd month of extensions When I went a couple weeks ago to have them raised because they had grown out. My husband’s cousin owns a high scale salon in Houston. She used high end hair and charged me very little.
Anyway..I love my extentions, but when I 1st saw my hair after they were removed I kinda “on the inside” freaked out. My hair is baby fine anyway and she explained to me that the hair she was brushing out was the hair that would have came out anyway. She doesn’t do anyone’s hair but mine. She travels around the U.S. teaching. So I know she’s very good at what she does. My husband and I travel from Alabama to TX every other month..yes
.an 18 hour round trip. He spoils me.
I plan on wearing them at least a year till my hair grows out. I think what you’re doing is outstanding to help women understand about their concerns. I think your natural hair looks great
PS… I’d like to send you a picture that you can share with people who are concerned about taped extentions. My hair dresser said I take excellent care of my extentions also

  155. Lori Estrada says:

People seem to forget the thickness of their own hair when the extensions are removed. They are shocked once they see their natural hair again. This person probably did not remove properly and was impatient and pulled her own hair out. I love your videos, keep doing what you’re doing <3

  156. Tara Rex says:

Hello Christy, I’m sorry you went through that, it’s not your fault! Btw, I’d need your opinion. I have very fine hair and just had very nice tape extensions put in my hair 1 day ago. They are “really” hurting my head. I have 2″ & 5″ wefts, and the 5″ wefts are tugging, pulling and throbbing, the 2″ wefts don’t seem to hurt as much. I have a feeling something is wrong. Did your tapes hurt the first few days. Please help!

  157. seawitch9496 says:

She did not get on the phone because she was full of shit.

  158. Adri says:

I’m not sure of you still read comments on this post, but had to offer a bit of input.
Firstly, I did micro link extensions once and lost HANDFULS of hair. With follicles attached, so it was not just the normal loss.
I cried, was depressed, and terrified of using extensions ever again.
But then I decided to try tape. I found your video on how to do it, used your method.
No problems. None. I took them out after three weeks because I wanted to see how much hair (with follicles) I was losing.
None beyond what’s normal. So your method worked beautifully for me, and I have awful hair. Terrible. Stress me out and see it FALL right out.
So thank you! So very much, because you’re way of doing it has made it possible for me to have gorgeous hair.

Secondly: I used a blend of coconut oil and tea tree oil to get them out. Just slathered that stuff on, covered my head, and read a book for a while. After a bit I just gently massaged the extensions right out, rubbing back and forth with my fingers. It took a bit of patience, but they all came out with no problems or breakage. I washed my hair, and done. No residue or issues, and my scalp was happy after having had all that coconut and tea tree oil on it.
I put my extensions in a bowl with some clarifying shampoo and water and let them soak for a bit, then pulled what was left of the tape out. Good to go, and I’ve already re-used them once.
