Omg you look super gorgeous today! I love your hair, top, nails, and makeup! Really cute!(: have a nice day.(:

  2. Lori Duncan says:

Wow Christy! So super detailed and informative! This will be so much easier for me to fold over my 3/4″ that I bought by mistake. I tried cutting it in half, lengthwise, which works but SO sticky and difficult to cut it straight. Yet I didn’t want to toss it. As always, another amazing tutorial 🙂

  3. Lori Duncan says:

Question. How long in advance can you prepare the tape on your extensions? Ie., could I pretape my wefts a few month before using them? That way my second set is all ready to apply after removing the other set. Would I need to reheat with flat iron?

  4. 817micro says:

Going to try this tomorrow !

  5. LaReyna Yolie Reyes says:

    Great video. Thanks

  6. Tye Lee says:

If I order your hair with tape will u do this method or the old method?

  7. 52weeksofbeauty says:

Thank you soooooooooooooooooooooooo much!!! That was SO sweet!! <3

  8. 52weeksofbeauty says:

    Yes, absolutely!

  9. 52weeksofbeauty says:

    Either way!

  10. 52weeksofbeauty says:

    Thank you 🙂 🙂 🙂

  11. 52weeksofbeauty says:

    Awesome!! Let me know!!

  12. 52weeksofbeauty says:

Yes – you can do them in advance. I would just re-heat them (very quickly tho this time – with just a splash of heat) again when you are ready to install! 🙂

  13. 52weeksofbeauty says:

Thank you TONSSSS!!! And – yay – so happy you can use it this way! I am in love with the fold-over! ;)!

  14. Lori Duncan says:

Great! I will get mine ready to go and put them in after we get back from the beach. We

  15. Lori Duncan says:

Weather turned cool last night and it looks like our Indisn summer is about to ride off into the sunset! Lol time for more hair. 😉

  16. Sey Senoron says:

hello girl! this video is soooooo informative….. well all of ur videos are!!!! lolzzzz anyways, i hav a question, i heard some comments also about hair wefts including hand tied and machine tied wefts that, if u cut it they will shed or loosen up especially on the part where u cut the weft….. base on ur experience, can u tell me how true this is? thanks in advance gorgeous!!!!! mwahhhhzzzz

  17. Ashley Bilke says:

I love the fold over technique! Also I wanted to randomly recommend a really good, conditioning thermal spray, thermal image by Wella for our extensions. I have been trying EVERYTHING and no matter what I used, leave conditioners, thermal sprays, deep conditioning treatments, ect, my extensions were ALWAYS dry and tangling, it really peeved me! Until I tried Wella thermal image. oh my gosh. Its amazing. Try it and let me know what you think!

  18. victoria schwambach says:

Ive been using this technique since I started doing the tape in extensions! Its awesome. I had to do this because I ordered tape that was very wide. Love it!

  19. ajvaldo405 says:

I love your videos,I just put in my tape in extensions, I love them already. Thank you for the vids

  20. Kel Mor says:

Christy I couldn’t stop laughing when you said look little tee pee and no more tee pee (spelling error I think) What color was the hand tied you used? Do you prefer double wefted or hand tied for thin hair?Fall is definitely here. I’m actually sitting her having a pumpkin spice coffee yummy. Talk soon xoxo

  21. jessicagail2010 says:

you are beautiful! love this video

  22. Casey Liberty says:

What is this week’s video gonna be???

  23. 52weeksofbeauty says:

    Thank youuuuuu….. BUNCHES!!! <3

  24. 52weeksofbeauty says:

This weeks video is gonna be all about how tired I am!! haha that wouldn’t be very interesting if I just fell asleep on camera. 😉 No really – it will be up prob Fri or Sat and will most likely be about how to start a hair extension company!

  25. 52weeksofbeauty says:

Pumpkin spice coffee sounds fabulous!! And – haha – I always think about that tee pee thing when I do mine now! 😉 That hand tied was 18/613. I personally use ash/bleach for my color though. That was just extra hair I had. I prefer both really. Hand tied is amazing…it is like a breath of fresh hair – I mean air. 🙂 🙂 🙂 hahaha – it is just so light and airy. But sometimes I want machine wefts too. Hard to pick! I got your email and will get back to you real soon – promise!

  26. 52weeksofbeauty says:

You are SO welcome and I am soooooo happy you love them!! 🙂

  27. 52weeksofbeauty says:

YAY! So happy to hear that!!! I don’t think I could ever go back to the other way now!

  28. 52weeksofbeauty says:

Hiiiiii!! This is a great question! I ALWAYS cut my hand tied wefts. A few little pieces from the side will come off of weft – like a few strands. And then it is all good. Just dont keep cutting it. Let that little 1/8″ be free of hair. You could always add a little bit of Walker Ultra Hold Glue (or any waterproof glue) to the weft if you wanted to make sure no more hair comes off…but I have NEVER had an issue. xoxo!

  29. 52weeksofbeauty says:

Hi Ashley! I have never tried that – I just looked it up. You mean the Heat Protectant Spray? Just wanna make sure I try the right thing! 🙂

  30. Ashley Bilke says:

Christie, Yes, the heat protectant spray by wella

  31. 52weeksofbeauty says:

Perfect – thank you! Will add it to my Amazon cart now 🙂

  32. fairybutterfly1313 says:

I learn something new with every video!

  33. SouthernGirlBeauty says:

Hi, so I’ve seen every one of your tape in hair extension videos, and I have to say they are amazing. You have given me so much more information than just researching on the web has. I want to use clip in extensions and remove the clips and apply the tape to them, but I am nervous that after a few washes the extensions will get SO dry and brittle. That has happened to me before and its quite frustrating. Do you have any products you could recommend that keep your extensions soft and healthy?

  34. Mer569 says:

Thanks for naming this process after me, LOL!!! I’ve got my 15 minutes of fame now! 🙂 I am so glad I told you about this! 🙂

  35. 52weeksofbeauty says:

    Fabulous!! 🙂

  36. 52weeksofbeauty says:

Hi Meredith!!! Yay – isn’t it fun?! I am SO THANKFUL you told me (us) about it!! I LOVE YOUR WAY SOOOO MUCH!!! <3 🙂

  37. Hannah Reyes says:

Omgeee I’m so glad I found your videos ! Im going to order tape In hair extensions this week but I’m getting them in pre cut pieces . I was doing 40pc of 18″ 100g and 20pc of 16″ 85 or 100g (I have thick short hair) what is the best tape that will hold mine ? And my hair is pretty silk will that be a problem ? Thank you !=)

  38. 52weeksofbeauty says:

Hi!! Depends on if these pieces are hand tied or wefted? If they are double wefted – I would suggest the 1/2″ for the fold over technique. Or you could use 3/8″ for each side and do the original method I did in week 7. 🙂

  39. Hannah Reyes says:

I emailed you all my questions cause Im thinking about getting hand tied wefts and do it how you do thank you for getting back to me !:)

  40. kandy stallworth says:

How much does it cost to start up

  41. Ashley Freeman says:

I am loving you channel. I love how you detailed you are. I can’t wait to see the more insightful video……I just recently finished cosmetology school and am thinking about not only selling hair but making my own weft and everything 🙂 wish me luck

  42. Kerri BFitness says:

You are seriously so awesome – your tape in video changed my life and you are my favorite youtuber EVaear

  43. Kerri BFitness says:

    *ever lol

  44. Starintheblue says:

Now, I saw this video sweetie so fun looking forward to the next hope it comes soon, what was the site you would open where you sell your hair? hug hug from Sweden

  45. 52weeksofbeauty says:

Hi – thank you! I sell Miss Flirty’s on eBay, Amazon, Etsy and my website too (miss flirty hair dot com).

  46. 52weeksofbeauty says:

Great question! You have to pay taxes every month on your sales. I do mine online. Even if you have no sales that month, you have to report no sales.

  47. 52weeksofbeauty says:

You are just too sweet to me!! 🙂 xo!

  48. 52weeksofbeauty says:

Good question! Biz license/trademark I believe was under $1000. Then buying samples depends on how many you want to test out…so maybe 1-3k worth? Then if you want a website, packaging and so on – another 1K roughly.

  49. 52weeksofbeauty says:

Good Luck for sure!! Making your own weft?! Amazing! Doing my next video any day now! 🙂

  50. 52weeksofbeauty says:

Awwwww Kerri – THANK YOU!!!! <3!!!

  51. Alex Pardoe says:

You’re an absolute angel for making this! Thank you, thank you, thank you! Please make more!! <3 How long did the whole process take, from applying for your business license, to starting to sell?

  52. 52weeksofbeauty says:

Hi Alex! ThankYOU!!! It took me a long time to start selling – bc I wasn’t in a hurry. But – you could get the whole process going in about 2 months if you wanted to do everything quickly and give it 100% from the start! 🙂

  53. Kathy Metta says:

Love how your hair looks in this video. Any chance of a styling video in the near future? Thanks again for making such great videos!

  54. 52weeksofbeauty says:

Thank you!! And – yes a tape – in styling video will be up before Dec 🙂

  55. Jodi Tomczak says:

How do I buy your line of hair? I want the hand tied wefts that u do foldover tape on. where do ipurchase without the clip on clips i just want the hair with thin tape already applied? is their a site i can go to to order from you?

  56. shannel artis says:

  60. Shadei terry-coleman says:
