***UPDATE: 1/4″x6 Yards IS absolutely amazing and I think I may like it a little better than the 1/2″x3 Yards. I will keep you all updated on the two of them and what is working better for me. The 1/4″x6 Yards Roll is a little more expensive bc it is two 3 yard rolls stuck together (side by side – the rolls don’t come apart like I thought in the video), so you are getting twice as much as the 1/2″ x 3 Yard Roll. I never thought 1/4″ width would be enough – BUT IT IS! And ready for this…it feels even lighter and flatter than the 1/2″x3 Yards – CRAZY huh? I know. Hard to believe it could get lighter or flatter…but it does! I will talk about this more in my upcoming removal video! 🙂

  1. Norma Carrillo says:

Okay, maybe I’m doing something wrong. I made and installed my tape-in’s about 2.5 weeks ago. Idk if it’s because my hair is alot darker then yours, but I see the tape when my hair blows around with the wind. I used the un-sandwhich method as you do… :(Btw, how can I remove this tape? Anything that I can get from Sally’s?

  2. Elena Skreka says:

Hello again! I have another question for you, I m thinking about ordering some clip ins with lace on top, do you think that is proper for putting the tape on it or not?

  3. 52weeksofbeauty says:

Awww – yay Samantha – that’s amazing to hear – thanks for letting me (us) know! 😉

  4. 52weeksofbeauty says:

Hi Elena, I thought about this question for a bit – and I do not really think it would be the best option…unless you used a wide enough piece of tape to cover the lace and still adhere to the extensions at some point on each side…

  5. Cairene9 says:

I don’t usually leave reviews, but I had to. I did the tape install for the first time and it turned out superfabulous! I don’t know why I was worried about it and putting it off, the way you explained and all the videos made it SO easy. My 12 yr old parted my hair and placed them straight in the back! I’m converted and will never have thin, non-amazing hair again. lol!

  6. William Dong says:

you can purchase hair tape extension from our factory..We are china hair factory

  8. William Dong says:

hi you are beautiful…Amazing..We are hair factory located in china..You can purchase hair from us..Price and quality amazing like you

  9. 52weeksofbeauty says:

With darker hair you may have to wash your hair every 1-2 days…this will help it not show through. Mine only shows through on my calic-y part if I haven’t washed my hair in 3-4 days. Also – make sure when you install – you put it right at your part line. If you install it a little lower, and your hair grows fast, it will be more likely to show in the wind too when it is further down. And – if that doesn’t help…maybe you are a better candidate for the sandwich method – w/ one sided tape

  10. Danielle Mauro says:

I never thought to use my clip ins! I’ve been wearing clip ins for almost 5 years, and although I love the way they look, they don’t hold up well all the time 😡 (have had some accidents). My big thing is dealing with the water, wanting my long hair at the beach and when active. Instead of buying new tape ins I might just try using my clips. Thanks a lot, this was extremely helpful. But I do wanna know is what is the unsandwich method? Because I can imagine two wefts being damaging to thin hair.

  11. tikirolin says:

Hi! Can you cut the weft of at the top? For a more flat install. Have you tried this?

  12. Kaitlyn Lepka says:

I have hair that I had used for my sew in extensions a while back, and the hair is still in awesome shape and would work good for this I think. its in several sections though could I still apply it just like you did just into a bunch of sections?

  13. Ashley Bilke says:

Hey! I have a quick question, I hope you have time to answer :). ok so ive turned to EBAY, im finding A LOT of clip in (im looking to convert mine to tape ins, like you did) that claim to be AAA Remy 22 in extensions from China, Hong Kong, ect for like $25-65!! I wanted your opinion on if this is really to good to be true, since you got yours from China. Should I just take a chance on $30 and see? im just really skeptical about spending another $150+ and getting burned AGAIN. 🙁

  14. 52weeksofbeauty says:

Yes, I would not advise this. The hair sheds too much and you would lose a lot…

  15. 52weeksofbeauty says:

Absolutely! Many girls do it that way actually…

  16. 52weeksofbeauty says:

Send me the eBay sellers ID and I will research for you and let you know asap! 🙂

  17. 52weeksofbeauty says:

Sandwich method typically uses one sided tape and sandwiches a thin amount of natural hair in between two sticky weft pieces. I do it the other way. Double sided tape on BOTH sides of the weft…laid onto hairline part and your natural hair falls over the top taped part. This way – there is no pulling or matting and it doesn’t show through when the wind blows…

  18. Ashley Bilke says:

I cant figure out this new YouTube crap lol. idk how to send it to you in a message, so here it is:seller IDyejianjun20062006AAA 16″~26″ Women’s Remy Clip In Human Hair Extensions 100g18/613 is what I want.

  19. Ashley Bilke says:

    22″ **

  20. 52weeksofbeauty says:

Ok, I checked them out on eBay. Well – 100grams is not a lot. You definitely would need more than one pack. And there are no pics of the ends of the hair…so it may be very thin? “Double drawn” hair is very important…bc it means the thickness remains from the top of the weft to the bottom. So, your extensions will be much fuller and healthier looking… They also have a ton of negative reviews: Here is one: “This is NOT real human hair!! Melts easily, tangles, smells like plastic!!!!”

  21. 52weeksofbeauty says:

Let me know what you think. I know you want a good deal – I totally understand that. I just think it isn’t possible to find true Remy AAA Double Drawn 22″ 170grams or more for less than $150-$250 range.

  22. tikirolin says:

    thank you!

  23. Ashley Bilke says:

Thank you for the advise. I guess I’ll suck it up and purchase some miss flirty 🙂 your line really does have the best color for me. Im excited!

  24. Katie-Anne Elizabeth says:

What happens when you take them out? Is the tape hard to get off of the extensions, and can you just peel it off and use new tape?

  25. sarah glasok says:

ok i have a question i cant find an answer to when doing the tape in and doing the sandwhich method one tape extensions under a thin layer of hair with another extensions sandwiching the hair ok so when using the tape isnt the outsides of the tape thats not being taped to the hair be sticky?

  26. DiiJiiGii says:

I’m saving up for my Miss Flirty extensions! (Five kids = slow budget building for beauty products!) How do I know what color to choose? Do I send you a pic? In what lighting? Will I end up taping in all 170g? My hair is about the same thickness as yours. Thanks!

  27. 52weeksofbeauty says:

No – it is really easy. You just peel the old tape off. It’s a bit sticky, but it peels of usually in one slimy piece! 😉 And then you put new tape on the old taped area and the left over stickiness helps it adhere to the new tape even better! 🙂

  28. 52weeksofbeauty says:

Yes – it will be sticky…if you use the tape I recommend. This is nice through – bc then the top and bottom of your sandwiched pieces are adhering to a tiny bit of your natural hair. This helps “hide” the taped pieces. However, there are companies that offer one sided tape…if you want to do it that way instead.

  29. 52weeksofbeauty says:

Hi! I don’t use the whole pack. I probably use about 140g – ish. And – yes just text me a few pics in a few diff lights. My # is on my eBay or Etsy ads. Or – you can email me pics too. 🙂

  30. hannaxnguyen says:

Is it at all uncomfortable wearing a whole row in like that rather than smaller pieces?

  31. hannaxnguyen says:

Asking because I am going to put them in my hair tonight

  32. 52weeksofbeauty says:

Not at all! I prefer it to the smaller pieces..much faster, easier and much more low maintenence than pieces! 🙂

  33. hannaxnguyen says:

is it more comfortable too or is it about the same comfort?

  34. 52weeksofbeauty says:

    Should be about the same…

  35. hannaxnguyen says:

    thanks

  36. Simply Seamless says:

does it last as long as the smaller pieces? since your not sandwiching two pieces together?

  37. Simply Seamless says:

does it last as long as the smaller pieces? since your not sandwiching two pieces together?

  38. shittybritches007 says:

so you put a piece of tape on each side of the extension then when youre ready to apply peel off one side, place, then pull off the second layer and place a really thin layer of hair over it? I know the question is confusing 🙁

  39. Renae Coburn says:

why do you put tape on both sides?

  40. frenchinhalee says:

i did this method on my cousin but she said most of the bottom wefts fell out. i did the exact steps you did, applied on freshly washed hair and made sure she didnt wash until two days after installing them.. has this ever happened to you? is there a stronger tape you recommend?

  41. Sassy pea says:

What store can i purchase the tape at

  42. 52weeksofbeauty says:

eBay or Amazon – there are links in the description box under the video 🙂

  43. 52weeksofbeauty says:

Close…peel off both sides of the backing before you lay it on your scalp line. And – yes let your natural hair fall over it. 🙂

  44. 52weeksofbeauty says:

I prefer this way – bc my natural hair falls over the top sticky part and prevents the weft from showing through in the wind…

  45. 52weeksofbeauty says:

Watch my video on Tape In Issues that I just did last week…that may help… If her bottom wefts fell out, it sounds like she may have been pulling on them a bit – with brushing/combing/flat ironing and so on. The first week ~ the tape ins are SO fragile and it’s helpful to always hold them while brushing or styling…

  46. Casey Lambe says:

Hello, iv been using tape extensions for almost a year now. Previously iv been using the sandwich method and I find that last around 6weeks but I’m keen to try your way, how long do you usual leave your extensions in?? Thanks in advance Casey:-)

  47. 52weeksofbeauty says:

I keep mine in for about 6 weeks as well! 🙂

  48. Casey Lambe says:

Great thanks will defiantly be trying your way. It looks much easier:-)

  49. kingdomofthenight says:

You said you’ve been wearing extensions for 7 years, why not just grow your hair?

  50. scandalous1114 says:

Where can I buy your extensions?

  51. 52weeksofbeauty says:

    eBay, Etsy and Amazon 🙂

  52. 52weeksofbeauty says:

    I wish!!!! If I didn’t color my hair I could…but I crave blonde 🙁

  53. Amanda Goodwin says:

If you put the taped weft over the scalp line will your natural hair still grow?

  54. felicia gonzales says:

    Yes it will still grow

  55. LaReyna Yolie Reyes says:

I appreciated seeing your video. I have really thin hair. And you’re the perfect model vto prove this can work on anyone. Tfs. Going into my favs.

  56. 52weeksofbeauty says:

    Such a sweet comment – you’re such a doll – thank you… <3

  57. 52weeksofbeauty says:

Felicia is correct – yes. Once your hair starts growing, it will take the tape with it.

  58. 1Shatro1 says:

hey ,l saw your video so many times.and you help me a lot,l decide to make my ovn tape extentions.so i found very good clip in extentions and l thought to remove klips and put tape instead.but these extentions have somekinde lace inside and clips are attached on it so l never seen nothing like these so my question is did you have seen extentions with deluxe lace and can this lace be removed or is impossible bicause i think that bonding tape cant be put on that it must be directly on the hair.

  59. aeschliman6181 says:

Hello! First off I just wanted to say I love love your videos! My question is when I tried the hair on the top part would t stick to the tape especially around the top part of my head so the tape became visible and I had to take them off! I was using the walker no shine in 1/2 this time I ordered the 1/4 my question is should i clarify the hair first to make sure the top part sticks to the top of the tape? An I touching the tape too much? I try not to. And my iron only goes to 200 🙁

  60. idunnonicole says:

Do u sell other lengths or thicker extensions? I have extremely thick hair.

  61. 52weeksofbeauty says:

No other lengths yet. I will be ordering thicker sets soon though!

  62. 52weeksofbeauty says:

Hi – I have seen the lace you are talking about. I don’t know if you can take it off? Putting tape on the lace wouldn’t be the best idea… 🙁

  63. 52weeksofbeauty says:

Hmmm…maybe you are touching a little too much? Even a few finger prints can make the tape way less sticky. Can u try again without touching the tape at all? The stickier it is – the better. Esp – at the top crown part…where u want your natural hair to hide it…

  64. Angela Campbell says:

I have never worn extensions and I have a large head very thick hair, would you recommend using two packs of hair or do you think one would be enough? Also what color do you use, do you color it yourself ? Great videos thank you a bunch for the time you put into these, I always thought that extensions were out of my financial reach but now I am going to try them, much appreciated 🙂

  65. ABeautyfulYou says:

why do you apply tape on both sides of the weft if you only are using one side?

  66. Chloe Luckin says:

I don’t have a flat iron. So could I just use a straightener instead? Would it work the same? 🙂

  67. 1Shatro1 says:

i decide after all to buy miss flirty extentions but l have provlem with colour.i dont know do l need bleach blonde or auburn blonde colour because photo is little and is hard to see which l need do you have them and can you please explaine which is better for me l have vlond hair bleached but ashy a little bit.plees helppp btw love all your videos awesome

  68. 1Shatro1 says:

light auburn bleach is another on 613 l think ..so what do you think

  69. 52weeksofbeauty says:

    14/613 is a beautiful color – if you have light auburn/bleach color…

  70. 52weeksofbeauty says:

Yes it is the same thing…just try to get it on the highest setting 🙂

  71. 52weeksofbeauty says:

Hi! I would suggest 2 packs for you if you have very thick hair. You would probably need about 250-300grams. I use ash/bleach extensions. And – my natural hair – I highlight/lowlight myself… And – you are so welcome and so sweet! 🙂

  72. 52weeksofbeauty says:

To let my natural hair fall over top of the weft to hide/secure it even more 🙂

  73. 1Shatro1 says:

l know lm bothering you but l really dont know diference between the bleach blonde and light auburn bleach colour which one is lighter

  74. 1Shatro1 says:

and will be enough one pacage of miss flerty hair extensions or l need two.l se they offer and tape and remower did you youse them and are they good

  75. 52weeksofbeauty says:

No bother at all! Bleach is all one color and it’s very light. The other one is light too, but it’s light auburn and bleach mixed together – so there is some dimension in that one.

  76. 1Shatro1 says:

so l have ono haircolour would be good to take light auburn bleach because that is mix of two colours so do l need to colour my hair in same colour,l am afraid if l take bleach blonde that is going to be too light to my hair

  77. 52weeksofbeauty says:

U may want to add a few highlights or lowlights to match perfectly… Or sometimes if u put extensions high enough, they will blend anyway without adding any highlights or lowlights.

  78. 1Shatro1 says:

o great you help me a lot, such an angel..how long l need to wait for them..and one more thing l dont have credit card and paypal just visa debit is possible to pay with it

  79. 52weeksofbeauty says:

I have two in stock now and a debit card is fine. You can email me and I will email you the invoice 🙂

  80. Dramia Chalmers says:

you should research simplicity hair extensions video. you can get some tips. but nice video

  81. 1Shatro1 says:

l will email you but first one more question.my hairstylist mess up my hair on last dying roots she colour my whole hair and now is very bad like buble gum.so l need haircut.how long need to be natural hair to cover extention

  82. 1Shatro1 says:

on etsy second pickure with hairextentions is girl olivia can you please tell me what colour is she wearing, sorry for bodering just l still cant decide about colour both are so beautifull

  83. 52weeksofbeauty says:

Oh no! I am so sorry to hear that! Your natural hair only needs to be like and inch or two long – this menthod can work with really short hair… 🙂

  84. 52weeksofbeauty says:

She has 18/613 – but I am out of that right now.. 🙁 Will have it back in – in a month or so.

  85. 52weeksofbeauty says:

I will – thanks for the info! And thanks for the sweet comment! 🙂

  86. ItsSul says:

thanks for the amazing info!:) How did you creat your own brand?

  87. 1Shatro1 says:

is auburn bleach more brown or blonde colour..is anyone famous have that haircolour that l can see …sorry l cast cant imagine it gosh

  88. 1Shatro1 says:

and l try several things to repair hair but just nothing helps hair extention is my last hope that l will have long hair

  89. 52weeksofbeauty says:

It’s really blonde. Strawberry blonde with bleach highlights… If you email me – I will send you a pic by email 🙂

  90. 52weeksofbeauty says:

I will be doing a video on this subject in the next couple of weeks! 🙂 If you would like more info now, just send me an email and I will send you info.

  91. Ashley Steele says:

Everything your saying and doing is soo wrong .

  92. 1Shatro1 says:

l emailed you..hope you get it..

  93. lovedrenched says:

is there a store that sells this tape?

  94. lovedrenched says:

i love your hair btw.thanks for the video

  95. anagnlluvsmakeup says:

    Great job! Great information 🙂

  96. 52weeksofbeauty says:

    U r sooo sweet!! Thank you! <3

  97. 52weeksofbeauty says:

Not a mainstream store. Maybe check your local beauty supply? Not Sally’s though. Or eBay and Amazon have it…

  98. 52weeksofbeauty says:

    Awww – thank you… 🙂 🙂 🙂

  99. christy bianconi says:

I just did this and it worked wonderfully! Over the past two months I had 2 hair disasters with extensions. The first were keratin bonds (Cindarella) which cost me $600 for the hair and professional installation, which had huge bonds/too much tension/made my hair fall out. Second: microlink wefts by Regis: began falling out immediately, caused my scalp to break out. This was so easy thanks to your video! I spent $70 total, and gave myself a great layered cut (thanks to your other video). THANK U

How do u take them out

  102. Ani mob says:

could i use double dc tape/double sided tape?

  103. Ani mob says:

i want to put it on the top of my head is it gonna be fine?

  104. Ani mob says:

did you tookof the other tape i mean the one that is NOT sticked to your hair or scalp

  105. 52weeksofbeauty says:

Wow – sounds similar to my past! 😉 Have you watched Week 33? That is now my fave way of doing these tape -ins! Even easier and less residue!

  106. 52weeksofbeauty says:

    Obrigada! 🙂

  107. 52weeksofbeauty says:

Walker Weft Release Spray is my favorite!!

  108. 52weeksofbeauty says:

Yes – just make sure you have a little hair to cover the very top! 🙂

  109. 52weeksofbeauty says:

Both sides of tape are sticky. Watch my week 33 video – there is another easier way of doing these tape ins!

  110. julie jules says:

thank u thank u thank u! I went to sally’s & I bought “hair piece” tape & followed your instructions & omg I am so happy cuz I had the fusions & I had the clip-ins, but I had a ton (& I mean a ton!) of weft pieces that I didn’t know what to do with. I followed ur instructions w/ the tape & Yay!!! Im so glad I found your video!

  111. Cockcklos Rum says:

Does the other sticky side not touch your hair though and then get tangled

  112. 52weeksofbeauty says:

It does touch your hair, but only a few hairs stick. Helps to hide weft. No tangling.

  113. 52weeksofbeauty says:

Awesome Julie! I am not familiar with that tape – so let me know what you end up thinking about it! 🙂

  114. cherrysteven1 says:

Hello!I’ve seen your video: DIY tape in exstensions! My question is, can I take for each clip in extansions or I have to take a special sort?for I would very much like to have long hair, but I do not have to buy the finaziellen options with tape in! so I’m glad to make your video to see this myself, because it’s cheaper! another question, I have one side of the cut is very short, I can do that anyway? sorry, I’m from Germany and I had the whole Write to the google translator: D Thanks in advance!

Hi great info…I just installed the other day using pre taped 1 inch sections. but the method i used was sandwiching 2 pieces of extensions on either side if my own hair. Have you heard of this, and what do you think about it? I saw this technique on YT video done by BabeHairExtensions. THANKS! 🙂

  122. fairysa K says:

do you think when the tape in are on the hair and you go over it with a curling iron to set them in your hair more, would it be holding it longer?? thanks loveees.

  123. emdelity says:

Wow I just found your channel and I love it!! It’s so informative and I’m afraid I’m gonna start down this path of tape ins:) I currently use clip fancy extensions usually just on the weekends but I’ve been thinking about buying the bellami extensions, if they’re good then I might cut out the clips and use them as my first tape ins!Thank you so much for all this info!

  124. 52weeksofbeauty says:

    Thank you sooooo much!! <3!!

  125. 52weeksofbeauty says:

Hi! Any weft hair will work. It does not have to be clip ins with the clips removed…but make sure you do have a weft of some sort. And yes – you can do some short layers too for the one side that is short. 🙂

  126. 52weeksofbeauty says:

I would not use a curling iron near the taped parts. You only need to heat the tape on the weft BEFORE installation with a flat iron 🙂

  127. 52weeksofbeauty says:

Awww – yay! You are very welcome! Definitely keep me posted and let me know if you have any questions! 🙂

  128. CherryCreamCake007 says:

Thank you for your answer 🙂 am very happy … I wanted to leave my side cut as it is, it may well very much: D would like lasting long hair, so I was thinking that with the taps and your video has me a lot helped to make it ourselves (with clips) is cheap and it holds just as well I think! Thank you! I will contact you when the taps are in her hair 🙂

  129. jacquimwong says:

is it better to do this way or the sandwich method?

  130. Nanette Manley says:

hey can you get the tape from sally beaut supply. An for you first time what tip of hair should you get. This it the first time Im putting hair in.

  131. 52weeksofbeauty says:

Hi! No – they do not sell this tape at Sally’s… I would say – Remy is best 🙂

  132. 52weeksofbeauty says:

I like the sandwich better, but it is really personal preference. The UN-Sandwich helps hide the weft and there is no tangling this way or matting either.

  133. chap rieo says:

This is just a rumour I’ve heard; remy extensions are supposed to look really nice when taped-in to 3 inch hair, what’s your opinion? How many 100g pieces do you think someone would need if their hair was a grown out pixie, 3 inches and shorter the higher up the layers? Many thanks, :3

  134. georgie92782 says:

Hello I really want to try tape ins but I was wondering whats the difference by doing this way or sandwiching it ? X thanks

    You’re Awesome! Thank You. 🙂

  137. marie anderson says:

Hi, can you dye these extensions??

  138. 52weeksofbeauty says:

Yes but it’s better to dye the extensions before u add tape… With tape – the taped area won’t get color…

  139. marie anderson says:

Cool do you sell the hair and tape??

  140. xtina000 says:

  152. Anna thomas says:

No thata great thank you for the reply 🙂 much appreciated was just wondering in your personal opinion do you find sandwiching the hair lasts longer than havin just the one strip in?? Or do you find they last the same?? Sorry to keep firing the question s at you your tutorials are amazing!!! So much info love it!! And it makes me feel confident enough to have a go on my own which I wouldnt have had I not seen your vids so thank you very much xx

  153. Abbi Williams says:

just to clarify, when placing hair ext onto parting you take white paper off BOTH sides to expose tape sticky?

  154. coraandrylee says:

So you dont have to sandwich to wefts together like normal you just lay the hair over top of one weft?

  155. coraandrylee says:

So you dont have to sandwich to wefts together like normal you just lay the hair over top of one weft?

  156. jasy jubilant t says:

So you pretty much put them in just like you would if they were clip ins? Also when you put them onto your haur then you put your other hair down over it it doesn’t get lil fly away hairs stuck and hurt if that makes sense? Also after you put the rows all in you dont go back and put hair straightener on the hair glue part to seal it ?

  157. jenai herod says:

I See that you mention not to buy the tape at Sally’s, but that is the only place nearby that I know of to buy it at, and I’m not too fond of buying things online. Why shouldn’t one buy the tape at Sally’s?

  163. Ana Dahlia Von Vogner says:

  167. Romilyn Sotto says:

Hey Christy! You were the reason I tried Tape-in Extensions! I have them in for about 3 weeks now and I love them! The thing is that they shed so much that I don’t think I am able to use them again. Do you have any suggestions to stop the shedding? Also, I have noticed that with continuous washing, my extensions feel dry and tangly even though I conditioned them as well. Is this normal? Thank you and I love your videos!

  168. Elke Nicolai says:

Hi! I reaaally wanna get tape in extensions, but the pre-made ones are super expensive. You get about 20 pieces for around a 100 dollars. I do wanna get the 4cm width ones, but I was just wondering how many I’m gonna need. Do you have any idea? I wanna get length mostly. Also, do you have any idea how many 4cm pieces I could make out of 1 full set of clip in extensions? I would have to cut them to create 4 cm pieces width so I don’t know if that’s a good idea. Thanks for your help! xo

  169. marie-pierre allagnat says:

Why don t you just simply grow your own hair?

    • Sarah says:

Lol you’re kidding right? “Simply growing out your hair” usually requires years of growth time, and is impossible to do with chemically treated hair due to constant breakage.

  170. Ashley Smith says:

oh my goodness thank you for making this easy. all the other videos I watched were just … bad. haha Thank you!

  171. Kaya Diaz says:

I have a question please answer.??…. is there any way to cut the weft off after putting the tape on because if someone was touching my hair I dont want them to know I have extensions in … and is it going to be just flat to my head??

  172. Lawanda Perthel says:

I love how you come back and update things that you discovered and new techniques!

  183. Tammy Smith says:

i have just done this and im sooooo pleased thank u so mush for your channel xxx

  184. Leesa Mathew says:

Great presentation, wonder how you handle it all by yourself, you’ve got deft and nimble fingers….okay here’s the question, you have applied or pasted double sided tape on both sides of the Hand Tied Weft Extension, you then partition the hairs, held by a clip, and remove the adhesive protective white tape which are on both sides of the Hair extensions, then, you apply one side to the partitioned scalp, and drop down your hair. My question is if the protective tape which on the front side is removed then the adhesive is exposed and it will stick to your original hairs, when yhou drop them down.Since your video has been speed edited, we do not see if you have left the protective tape on, on the exterior side, it appears you have removed the protective tapes strips from both front and back of the Weft, how is it that your natural hairs, do not stick to the exposed adhesive?

  185. natalie madge says:

Hi can I use a normal 220c straightener to clamp down the tape ? Great video btw xx

  186. natalie madge says:

And do I apply to scalp or top part of hairline xx

  190. Devin Hodgson says:

I do a review of these on my channel! feel free to check them out!

  191. Michelle Fitch says:

Aren’t you supposed to seal your hair after the tape once again with a flat iron? That is what I saw with an install of store bought hair extensions? If it works for you I guess it would be alright…

  192. Erika Cachimbo says:

Ok I tired them on Tuesday but my head itched so bad and got massive head aches that I had to take them out today meaning they only lasted 2 days. I got the hypo allergenic tape to. Any tips as to why and how to make it stop itching and why I kept getting headaches? I’d like to try again but need to know how to fix this.. Thanks

  193. Christie Johnson says:

Is it possible to use tape in extensions with a short layered haircut? Im growing out a pixie cut and my hair is about 3 inches long (layered) Ive tried every salon in my city and they all keep saying hair must be 5-6 inches long. Also Im wanting to change up my hair color to maybe an ashy beach mix or maybe a light brown, which might blend better? I

  194. Timna Malesevic says:

Why do you need tape on both sides

  195. peyotecoyote73 says:

Love your videos…very informative. i’ve gone through installations of hot fusion bonds, which, by the end of the 2nd install, completely ruined my hair….and i was very very careful about taking care of them. i have very fine thin hair, much like your own and i’m sorry now that i ever tried the fusion bonds. i’m going to try this method, not sure about putting them in by myself though, we’ll see. where can i purchase your “flirty remi hair extensions”? please and thank you

  196. meryan fr says:

my name is maria wave and I am from Spain. I’ve seen every one of your videos and I love, I wanted to consult you’d know if you have reponderme. I have extensions and use curtain clip, but I like to try to bring some adhesive fixed extensions as your e seen you wear, I wanted to ask if you think that could convert my wefted extensions sticky as you carry. I’m asking to see if I could reuse the curtains that I have, and if you can explain it to me like that could colocarmelas. I saw that when they put adhesive extensions put one above and one below and create a kind of sandwich but your videso put tape on both sides and just put a curtain. I also wanted to ask if you take them off when removing cost much and whether mistreat hair glue or hair bearing damage. thank you very much is that there are many questions but I would be very agradecida.un kiss and a greeting from Spain

  197. Raquel Goro says:

So, I like the method very easy to install but its been a week now and I can feel the glue being sticky on both sides. It feels strange!

  202. Christine Russo says:

Hi, I really loved watching your video, I am someone who usually uses clip ins and because of your video I am very interested in turning them into tape ins!! Where can I buy tape at? And are they easy to get out? I really want to try them but concerned about how they come out, I am not sure I would wear them for weeks ether, to stay with clips or not? Suggestions please

  203. deanne olinger says:

Hi, I love your videos about the hair extensions! You have opened up a whole new world for me as a DIY. I have long bleach blonde fine hair that is a few inches shy of my mid back. I recently had tab extensions in for 8 weeks, at week 4 a friend noticed a tab when the wind blew my hair- ughh! From then on I kept it low pony or braided for fear someone could see them. Not to mention the install cost and a few times they were slipping out of my hair which meant several trips back to the salon and they also poke my scalp when sleeping. Last year I had purchased bleach blonde clip in hair extensions that I use for special occasions. I am looking for fuller hair that has more versatility for styles-not my fine thin hair it always looks so-so. I recently tried your tape technique a few days ago, however I only used one long 4 clip weft. This is really all I need since it’s alot of hair(machine weft) so it would look more natural and not that I added hair extenisons. My issue was I placed the weft in my upper mid scalp, however you could see the hairline & weft- my root color is darker and the hair weft is bleach blonde. So, I was worried that the wind would blow my hair and you would be able to see it, so two days later I took the weft out. The walker weft release I purchased from you was fabulous, it worked really fast as you showed us on your videos. Do you think I can apply the weft down further on my scalp and that would help; or do you think it’s because I need to stack more wefts- any thoughts would be appreciated.

  204. Nannilain says:

Are they 100 prozent real human hair ?Can you change the colour from the hair?Us the area where the clip was not to thick ?

They’re beautiful and I’m getting ready to put them in right now, just wanted one more peek at how-to! Thanks for some lovely, gorgeous hair, Christy!!!

  214. Onlybirds4me says:

What store can you get the tape at? Sally’s? Kmart? Walmart?

  215. Lola Ann says:

This is the best hair extension video I have ever seen! I can’t wait to try this. I have really wavy, thick hair (just past shoulders). Any suggestions that would help me? I am guessing I should double weft in the back? I can’t wait to be able to wake up with long, straight hair. Do you suggest that I cut my real hair first so that I can cut down on maintenance? I am so tired of dealing with my very course waves!! Thank you for your awesome videos.

  216. Alejandra Trinidad says:

Can you use the extensions again?

  217. Denise George says:

Dont bother buying cheaper extensions to practice with like I did. Even remy hair from Sallys or ebay was so inferior to Miss Flirty extensions that it didnt give me a clear idea how well good quality hair would look on me. Miss Flirty hair is so gorgeous, so luscious, so voluminous — Im irritated with myself that I wasted the $50-$60 on cheaper hair first. It just meant I spent that extra for nothing because it doesnt work for anything but costumes where everyone will know it’s fake. Buy Miss Flirtys first. Its the highest quality at a great price. And Christy is a person of integrity. Definitely buy from someone like her you can trust! And if your hair is ash blonde, you’ll have a really hard time getting an exact color match from any other line of hair extensions!

  218. nina robledo says:

Do you think this tape method can work on extentions with no wefts???? Liked this video I want to try the tape extentions out:)

  219. Stephanie Dennis says:

can you cut the wefts of hair to be smaller or will that ruin the whole extension?

  220. Rebecca Raygoza says:

Can you help me? I bought the tape and applied them to my extensions, Im trying to double them up but I CANT seem to get the white protective paper off!!! It either rips or it takes the adhesive away with it. 🙁 Is there some way of making this easier??? its just so sticky i cant get the paper off haha…

  221. delaney griffiths says:

Hi I was just wondering why you tape both sides of the wefts? I thought you only had to put it on the side you were taping to your hair? Let me know please, thanks!

  222. Dylan Schwarz says:

where can i get the fake hair in a dirty-darkish-blonde color?

  223. easternhair says:

  225. Brittney Corliss says:

hi i have a question, I’m applying the tape to the hair myself and then having someone put them in for me in a few days. should i do the hot iron now or wait till she’s going to put them in my hair?? thanks!!

  226. Melissa Burley says:

I ordered the wrong tape by accident and I really need to walk into a store today to buy the walker no shine double sided tape in San Diego, CA, can you help?

  227. Melissa Burley says:

So far, I found a place that has the Ultra Hold Tape, but I’m wondering if it is a specific brand, as well as the other two you suggested? For example, the No Shine is that Walker only?

  228. Jessica Smith says:

I did this, I converted clip in Bellami extensions I had used many times previously… The hair looked great until I washed it. Tapes fell out. I put them back in. I allowed the hair to dry naturally. I used heat protection products. I used smoothing serums once hair was done. 10 minutes after finishing my curls, BOOM. Matted crazy KNOTTED hair. Brush it out with extension brush. BOOM. More hair falls out. 10 minutes later. BOOM knotted crazy MATTED hair. I tie it up to stop it knotting. BOOM 10 minutes later – knotted matted mess in a pony tail. HOW … please tell me how to stop this happening. Can I use a keratin treatment on the hair? I need to re-tape and re-install the hair, but I need a solution first. PLEASE HELP!!!??

  229. Laura Gutierrez says:

I love ur video, I have watched it 100 times. My hair is short and I’m trying to grow it out and in the meantime, ur video is a godsend. Thank you!!!

  231. Fatima Ribeiro says:

Hi, your video is amazing and you are so beautiful!!!

  232. Stacia Bears says:

Where can I get the tape from? Can I get it at walmart or walgreens? And does it cost a lot of money to get the tape? I really like to use this instead of the clips. Cause some of my extensions dont have clips so i have to use bobbi pins to but them in my hair.. And i really need to use this type of way to do my hair. So where can I get the tape from and how much does it cost?

  233. Dhlakegirl says:

Hi, do u apply the tape under the weft or on top of the weft? Thanks

  234. Cadence Denney says:

the first time did you get them pro done

  235. Lorie Johnson says:

I just wanted to say THANK YOU!!! I have tried sew ins (came out in a week and pulled all my edges out), glue, and several kinds of tape. I can’t stand clip ins and I couldn’t make anything stay in my hair for more than a week because of it being so fine and thin. After watching all of your vids on extensions I ordered the walker tape (figured what do I have to lose) and it has stayed put for 2 weeks!! Even if it fell out today it’s been in longer than anything else I have ever tried!! It’s still holding strong after being washed and blown dry. It doesn’t hurt, it doesn’t itch as bad and it’s not pulling out my hair! Walker tape is all I will ever use! Once again thank you for all of your wonderful info!!

  236. lucile rey says:

Hello,I’m french, and I have a question because I do not understand the whole video. How long do you keep the extensions? Glue holding it long? Thank you! I will go to buy on your website!

  237. Granny LaLa says:

I’ve got to try this!! I had my daughter do my hair before. We did the piece by tiny piece. First the pre-glue then beads. My daughter now refuses to discuss hair extensions with me LOL!! She said I ruined her dreams of being a beautician 😀 My hair won’t grow fast nor long and it’s thin. I still have some hair that can be used with beads, wish I could use that with the tape.

  238. Grace Scott says:

  239. Hayward Brittney says:

I’ve watched most of your videos on the tape ins now and they are super helpful : ) but wondering if is ok that I normally shampoo my hair with castile soap and I use apple cider vinegar as my regular conditioner…. will those things make the tape come out faster? I really want to try this method

  240. Yury Londono says:

Hi, I love your videos , and im really wanna try the tape in can I know where did you buy your hair? And I want to know if is a real human hair because that what I only use real hair ? Thank you dear ^_^

  242. zoe burba says:

Hi I’m really interested in doing this, I want to put a lot of extensions in, what tape do you recommend I use? Also can you wear your hair up with this?

  243. anonymous anon says:

so, there is no sandwiching method to this? so you just tape both sides of the weft, apply it to your real hair and then let the next section of your real hair fall over? this seems really nice and easy!

  244. Angela O. says:

QUestion: why put the tape on both sides of the weft and not just on one side?

  245. Hazel gomez says:

Question how can I make the sandwich method if both sides are taped? Like all my extensions are taped on both sides ….

  246. Sarah Hurd says:

Thank you so much for posting this video! I just bought the weft extensions a long strip about 40″ and then the extension tape. I have been watching so many videos it’s silly. I was super confused until I watched your video, thank you so much! I’m ready to get started now!! FINALLY!!

  247. Vanessa Lee says:

is there a way that i can put these in where i can still easily wear a high pony tail and half up half down? and if so how

  248. megan halvorson says:

Hey, great videos! I have had pre-made hair extensions for several years now, and in the last two years I have gone from dark brown to light copper at 24 inches long. I have found, however, that i cannot find any brand that doesn’t lose massive amounts of length within weeks… 5-7 inches within 5 weeks usually. Likewise, I haven’t been able to find a pre-made tape extension that doesn’t look super thin on the bottom (unless I get unprocessed virgin hair, but then the weft adds bulk and is not as flat as a pre-made). I know that I am very good at taking care of extensions, so I don’t know what to do and it is driving me nuts! Do you have any experience at all with this? Should I just give up on the pre-mades and get my own virgin remy hair and dye it and just deal with the bulk of the wefts? Thank you, from one very frazzled extension lover.

HELP!!!! I got my hair done at a stylist and she did tape in and the only thing she said was that it’s hard to do pony tails and she didn’t tell me I couldn’t wash them! So I washed my hair today and one started slipping out but I hurried and dried it and it still is kind of sticking! Is there anything I can do to somewhat fix this?? I got them done yesterday for 120$ and my mom would be so mad if I took them out or anything!
